              Lazy work ethic that negatively affect my credit score and other billing charges or interest rates. They don't file with insurance. Every time for the last at least 6 years that a Doctor use them they bill me, then they sit on it even after I give them my insurance information until billing reports it to the credit bureau. I get mad and call them, they blame the insurance company. So I call to find no claim was made so the insurance calls them and gets it paid. This is the ONLY provider from my MANY hospitalizations that requires I do THEIR job of insurance claim billing and collections.

              I had an MR Angiography done at Rome Radiology in November 2020 and received a bill for $574.56, which I paid that same month. I thought all was well until July 2021 when I noticed a collection account on my credit report from Rome Radiology Group for $281. When I called their billing department to ask why I never received a letter or a call regarding the bills, they stated they did not have my contact or health insurance information. Ironically, they had my social security number to send me for collections. I gave them all those information and never heard anything from them for months. I called them multiple times and they told me my insurance had not responded. When I called my insurance, they stated otherwise and they gave me an EOB of their billing response to them. My insurance even stated I should be owed a refund for overpaying. I emailed them everything and never heard anything back. It's terrible how they are easily willing to send you for collections, to ruin your credit and unwilling to do their part to fix it. All the reviews online about Rome Radiology Group show the exact billing problems.

              Spoke with Mr. *************, advise bill he paid was for the facility only - that $281.00 bill was separate adv him of final bill bal and that this has been closed with the agency. Sent him a statement as well.

              Rome Radiology did call and clarify the billing differences. They also apologize for not receiving a billing statement with eventual collection notice. It should be resolved soon once I receive the statement, pay the balance and have the collection removed. Thank you!
