Lazy work ethic that negatively affect my credit score and other billing charges or interest rates. They don't file with insurance. Every time for the last at least 6 years that a Doctor use them they bill me, then they sit on it even after I give them my insurance information until billing reports it to the credit bureau. I get mad and call them, they blame the insurance company. So I call to find no claim was made so the insurance calls them and gets it paid. This is the ONLY provider from my MANY hospitalizations that requires I do THEIR job of insurance claim billing and collections.

this account has been reviewed at the local Rome Radiology office and updates/ refiles with the authorizations attached to charges have been made to 4 charges which are outstanding.  I will monitor this account to ensure the claims are processed and adjustments are made if necessary.  With regards the the charge that was sent to collection $250.00 - this has been closed as requested and I have asked the agency to remove from credit reporting if necessary.  I encourage the patient to contact the local Rome Radiology office with any future issues so that I may personally be involved to ensure these issues are handled promptly.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:I am still having to do THEIR job of collections. They received the referral number and know the proper way to file according to the VA. This is a common issue with this company. ** said this particular company force the patient to become their collections department by turning it over to collections forcing US to do the insurance filing for THEM so they don't have to.

      Sincerely,

      ***** ****

Sometime in early 2022, I went to Rome Radiology and had some medical work done. A few short months later, I received a job offer to manage a business I was passionate about in my hometown of SC. I took the offer. Before I left, I received a couple bills in the mail from Rome Radiology and promptly paid them while finishing out my notice at a local auto dealership in Cartersivlle. A few months go by and I receive a phone call saying I owed Rome Radiology money. I stated I already paid them. They denied. I was sent to collections, which I found out by viewing ****** ***** to see why my credit score dropped to 700, when I had a 720. I have read the google reviews and now realize I am not alone. I spoke with Marie who refused to give me her last name or her supervisors name only to transfer me to them. I DEMAND that my account in collections be marked paid in full, AND completely removed from my credit report or I will file a lawsuit against Rome Radiology as a company for deceptive and illegal billing practices but I will also file one against Marie Watson B***** in her individual capacity as well as her capacity as an employee of Rome Radiology. I am very well versed in collections laws due to the industry I work in (Automotive Finance) This is not about money, I have the measly $200 or $300 they claim I owe, but I do not understand why I should pay money for bills I already paid! My 700+ credit score at 23 and my career history says enough about my knowledge in this business. Wipe the derogatory remark on my credit!!!!!!!

Please see attached - to date no payment has been made to Rome Radiology Group to settle this debt owed, nor has proof of alleged payment been provided to our office.  The office administrator has reduced the total due to $150.00 which was communicated to Mr. ***** on 11/16/2022 by April in our local billing office. This reduction was also communicated to Creditors Bureau Associates - Macon GA by same.  Mr. Ezel agreed to contact Rome Radiology Group at a later date to pay the reduced amount, and once that amount was paid - this would be removed from Credit Reporting.  The attached document is a letter sent to Mr. ***** documenting our communications.

This account has now been paid - the BBB complaint was received via secure email to my email address at 9:11 am - payment was received at or around 11:00 am per my email to Creditors Bureau Associates to have the claim removed against Mr. Ezells credit report. I advised to allow up to 60 days as this was now on CBA to remove - I emailed a paid receipt as well as placed a receipt in the mail to Mr. ***** along with an itemized bill showing paid and the phone # to CBA to follow up with the credit reporting. As to Social Media no HIPPA information was shared or violated, as his social media is a public account relating to his job - which was what appeared to be an add or a commercial for his auto job.  I can ensure you that I have no intentions of viewing social media relating to Mr. ****** I consider this matter closed.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: My tik tok page is personal and runs no ads, which is the social media that gave me notice that Marie B***** looked me up. If you watch my 2 tik tok posts, one mentions I am a general manager, but does not specify where. My other video shows a vehicle I no longer own. A quick SCDMV records check will show I do not even have any vehicles registered to my name at the time of this writing.

My personal Facebook merely shares the ads from the page of the dealership I manage. This is more evidence and essentially an admission that my personal pages were looked up. My dealership has our settings set to send the advertisement to people in a 60-80 mile radius from 29651 ZIP code. Therefore, my ads do not reach Bartow County or Floyd County, Georgia, where this business operates.  We also in-house finance everyone and therefore do not serve the area that Rome Radiology operates. Evidence shows my ads do not reach that area. The staff went out of there way to look me up because I fought back on paying a bill I did not rightfully owe. I did settle, as my time is worth more to me than $150 arguing with a staff who does not know basic patient privacy laws.

      Sincerely,

      ****** *****

In April of this year I Rome Radiology performed imaging services. I am content that the care providers were excellent and the service rendered appropriate, and as ordered by my physicians. I have received many bills, statements from them for payment of $23.97. In fact they still show a pending from my Mutual Of Omaha Insurance co. None the less on September the 12 I paid the balance. The error is mine in that I accidentally instructed my bank to pay $2,397.00. I have repeatedly requested refund of the overpayment. Twice I have told that they have not found my payment and it will take 4-6 weeks for a refund. Finally I requested a supervisor and spoke with Ron D****, who said he would escalate my claim and gave me an escalation number *******. My communication with him was September 15. I have called him twice seeking an update, the number he gave me is ************. I have left him messages with the claim number and my name and phone number. He has never returned my call. This is a large sum of money for me and I need it to pay bills. I would greatly appreciate your help. sincerely ******* * *******
