The incident first occurred on July, 7, 2021 with the installation of an air conditioner. On April 23 I found out that Spotless had only changed outside unit and not inside. On Feb 23 I found that the work they had done had voided my warranty on the air conditioner. I am now out 4000.00 I have not been able to make contact with the individual to have them fix the issue. Any help would be appreciated. ThanksBusiness response

Hello,
This is not the name of the company. We worked for several Home warranty companies, with ****** **** ******** being one. The technician went out to Mr ****** home and diagnosed the problem. The diagnosis was sent to ****** **** ********, where it is up to them what is to be fixed and what is to be replaced. ****** decided to replace just the condenser. My ***** was home during the installation of this unit. I personally talked with him. He knew it was just the condenser that ****** was replacing, as he had to sign a paper from them and send it back to them To approve it. Never was the air handler discussed as being replaced. I do not understand how this voided warranty on the new unit my tech installed? Mr ***** was present during the installation and paid my tech the non covered charges that was owed. The air handler was in the garage, and if it had been replaced, the tech would have been in there. Mr ***** knew it was not being replaced due to nothing being wrong with it.

I am rejecting this response because:I did talk to the technician and he is not being truthful at all. I have all my communications with ******. He at no time mentioned to me about the 2 different R factors and the issues it would cause to the unit (voiding the warranty). Why would he do work knowing it was wrong. He told ****** I had bad coper which has been proven wrong by 2 other technicians. ****** told me to sue them. All I need is for them to replace the unit and do the job correctly. He was supposed to have insurance to work with ******. I was told by one technician that he had over heated the coper and caused the problem.

****** **** ******** ONLY APPROVED for the condenser to be replaced. ****** **** ******** sent the condenser to my shop. This is the one that ****** approved and sent for my company to install in Mr ****** property. My business gave Mr ***** a 90 day warranty on labor and installation. We heard nothing from him in those 90 days. The unit was working properly when the technician left the home. Once again, my company has heard nothing from Mr ***** within the warranty time frame.

I am rejecting this response because:
I have emails from ****** that show he is untruthful. He installed the unit knowing that if he did it would damage both inside and outside units. He told ****** that you can mix different Freons knowing that you can’t. He knew this because he notified the company that he had installed it wi to 2 different Freons voiding the warranty on the unit. When he installed the unit he knew that it was installed wrong and did it anyway.
