I placed what looked like a successful order with ammomanstore.com. I got a prompt reply via email that the order was successful. However, some points:1. Payment was only available via direct payment methods like Zelle. (I assumed they were trying to avoid credit fees if I paid by CC, so I overlooked this red flag.)2. I noticed they posted law requirements about needing an ** **** and Drivers License, but their site didn't provide a method to upload a copy. 3. I called the phone number listed on their website and got an individual who didn't answer by the business name (another red flag), but as I had done a little research on this company, it appeared this was a new business and they may be having start up issues. I asked about them not allowing me to upload the **** / DL and they send to just sent via text; I did.4. They said the payment came through fine and they'd ship the order out next day, as this was now approaching after hours.5. Next morning, they sent a note the order was shipped.6. I soon got an ominous email from another company *********************** stating I would need to buy insurance on this package in order for them to ship to me. Something didn't smell right, so I contacted the seller again and he was evasive to my questions. The amount being requested was higher than what I had paid for the product by 100%. So, Tranz waylayed my order demanding what seemed like a ******, of sorts.7. I spent the next few hours trying to figure this Tranz issue out; here's where it got fishy.a. A third party company with a questionable web site; and their email had multiple spelling errors (red flag)b. When I complained to the seller, going by the name *********************** ***************** ***********************), he asked if I had paid Tranz yet and was urgently asking me to pay, as "time was running out". 8. This is when I decided this was a scam and my last communication was I was not paying any more money. They've been silent since.
