On 08/15/21, I contacted Colonbrook to receive a colon hydrotherapy service. The agreed upon amount for this service was $85. Being that the appointment was to occur same-day and on a Sunday, I was informed by Colonbrook that the fee for this service was to be paid immediately via an online payment portal, and was non-refundable. I submitted payment for the service, and it was completed as scheduled. After the service was completed, the associate at Colonbrook offered to sell me an ADDITIONAL future treatment package priced at $250 that could be used towards receiving additional hydrotherapy treatments at a later date. Being that I, at that time, was satisfied with the service I received, I purchased the package for future treatments and authorized a charge of $250. Shortly after leaving Colonbrook on 08/15/2021, I began experiencing UNDESIRABLE SIDE-EFFECTS that were very uncomfortable for me, and later determined by my primary care physician, to be the result of receiving a hydrotherapy treatment in a NON-MEDICAL FACILITY. My physician then reiterated to me that it would not be in my best interest or the best interest of my health, to undergo any additional non-medically supervised hydrotherapy treatments. With that information in tow, the next day I contacted the merchant via text message and e-mail to request a refund for the $250 package for future treatments. As of today, my request for refund has been completely ignored. This merchant is very well aware that the package I purchased for $250 was for FUTURE SERVICES that have NOT been provided. It should be noted that NO ADDITIONAL APPOINTMENTS WERE SCHEDULED ON OR AFTER MY INITIAL APPOINTMENT, AND NO ADDITIONAL SERVICES WERE PROVIDED BY COLONBROOK AFTER MY INITIAL APPOINTMENT, which was totaled at $85 and paid as agreed upon.
