I began my WYA app journey on 6/23/2020. Ive paid $9595 for an app that will cost me $30k-$60k to get the final product. The Appineers utilize illegal bait and switch business tactics. They give you pictures of your app prototype but nothing real that you can actually utilize. Once your think your app is complete, they ask for more and more money. In the end Im left with no app, no prototype only pictures. Im unable to utilize what they have given to me to get another developer to assist. Im out of $9595, no app, no prototype and no communication from The Appineers since 12/6/2021. I would like to be refunded for illegal business practices by The Appineers. They have not responded to mail, email or phone calls and none of the base camp links work. Im left with nothing.Initial Complaint

08/12/2020 $895.00 09/14/2020 $5,200.00 06/26/2021 $10,000 We hired Appineers to create an Application to help expand our Hair ************************** making it a convenient way for customers to get there hair products delivered. We were told to complete our payments as we can, the invoice is still available available but the company isn't. The Appineers has yet to respond to us, we've reached out several times, via email, and phone calls. Our bank even tried contacting the company to make things right, with our account. We was taken advantage of, they lied about delivering this wonderful application frankly I believe they stolen and sold our idea. They sent us a preview app, we've done some changes because of what was originally talked about was different from what we've seen with the application. We agreed on the new price for the added features they didn't add previously. This company as bamboozled us. We're seeking a full refund.We made several attempts to reach out to appineers, with no success. Either the number is disconnected or theres a recording with no answer from a representative. I paid the Appineers a total of $10,000 in two lump sums. By the time I paid this amount they told me my final amount would be $35k to launch in Beta or $65k to do a full launch. I thought that was a bit outrageous so I reached out to other app developers that said they could do my app for a flat rate of $9k. When they requested the source codes from Appineers it was discovered they never did my app, they actually only did photos of what my app would look like so there are no source codes. I just recently found out this company has closed down. Now Im out of $10k and my app was for youth and school safety to prevent all these school shootings and crimes against our youth. I was actually contacted by Shark Tank about my app but they needed me to have a proto type, appineers said theyll give me the proto type for an additional $15k which I dont have. So no shark tank for my app and no app even after paying out $10k Im very disappointed and do not recommend anyone using this company. These people are scammers! And I want a refund IMMEDIATELY!!!Initial Complaint

Date of Transaction: 03/2022 Business developed an app for android Appineers however didn't fully provide all of the information to access the app and when requested to receive information to access the app on ****** console, amazon web servies, and Stripe then there has been no response from the appineers. Started in 2022 now its 2023. Everything seemed okay until we read the BBB. We were able to give the app developers, **** apiece me and my mother to make an app. We were coming up with the rest of the money and once we got it, then we were not getting a response back. The rest of the money was $60,000. We had to come up with to do iOS and android. The phone number that is for Appineers has a voicemail that says **** and *** left multiple messages and have no response. Also, Ive been emailing the young lady, ***************************** who has been working with us, and she is not responding at all. So we right now are out $5895 and I am happy we did not pay that $60,000. We also had to pay I believe $695 to start. Right now I have gathered all we have paid so if they dont get in touch with us because it has been a while we are going to try to open up a lawsuit or do something in court but I want them to be able to just refund us so we can go with another app developer. I will upload as much as I can but not too much I need help getting my refund. This is not right!Initial Complaint

The Appineers promised to build an app for me, as well as marketing for the app amongst other things and led me on with a lot of things as if this was going to happen. It never happened, after paying them over $50000 and spending countless hours with headaches, doctors visits because of the stress of the app has been built.A week ago I found out that the appineers leaked all of the app data publically on this link https://petfindmobile.com/public/ I reach out to them via phone call, and email and they block me this is a major concern for all of the users on the application as all of their data has been exposed publically by the appineers. They're both ignoring the calls and the emails, and are not doing anything to fix or remedy the issue. I'm a hardworking individual that works all the time to support my family I dont have the extra time nor age to be dealing with this nonstop headache. Very frustrating, and unreliable company. They promise you the world to not come through at all. I need the exposed data from the app to be *********** away or I need to go to mediation for this and be refunded not only the money that was paid for the app but for liable damages and negligence.Initial Complaint

The Appineers promised to build an app for me, as well as marketting for the app amongst other things and led me on with a lot of things as if this was going to happen. It never happened, after paying them over $30000 and spending countless hours headaches, doctors visits because of the stress of the app been built, in more than a year time frame both on ios and android, the app is not working neither in ios, or android, as well as the app is missing the charging payment system for services. I have contacted them several times amicably to resolve the issue, they're both ignoring the calls and the emails, and are not doing anything to fix or remedy the issue. I'm a hardworking individual that works all the time to support my family I dont have the extra time nor age to be dealing with this nonstop headache. Very frustrating, and unrealiable company. They promise you the world to not come through at all. I need the app to have the payment system incorporated as well as I need the app to work both on Ios and android, either this or refund me the money that I have paid for the app, or I will be force to file a case in the court of law for fraud and negligence.Initial Complaint

The Appineers promised to build an app for me, and led me on as if this was going to happen. After paying them over $1000, all I received was a ****** Document with information that I filled out. I was rather appalled, and they said that there were now refunds. They promised that the app would be developed in the next phase if I spent the money, so I sent the money hoping that they would stick to their words. They also promised to help me find investors to fund the project, and other resources. They ended up just sending me links to these resources, without actually helping me at all! I could have easily down that myself using the internet. Furthermore, I have been charged a ton of money because they kept calling from the **, and I am from ******. I have now paid them around $12,000 CAD, and have still only received some illustrations and descriptions of what they said they would build me! Very frustrating, and now they want $30,000 USD to build the app for me. The payments seem to never end and I cant afford that kind of money. So now, I am down over $10,000 and have nothing to show for it!
