one life Fitness is not responding to me after almost two weeks to cancel our membership. Their process is to email member services who handles this and after 10 emails, I still have no reply. I called our gym location and they said the see the membership is not cancelled in their system and they are the only **** that handles cancellations. It's out of their hands and nothing they can do! I know learned that this is a huge complaint from thousands of their members. Please assist.Initial Complaint

I'm filing this complaint with the BBB to report a public health concern at the Crabapple Georgia Onelife Fitness ************ Two weeks ago, I took up a membership. Since then, I have visited the facility about five times on different days and times of the week.First-The members do not sanitize the workout equipment before or after its use. I must sanitize the workout equipment prior to my use and after I use it. The employees don't have any presence on the floor, no sanitizing going on unless you complain. Can't do much about the general public's poor health habits but the club should be managing this, possibility with some sort of enforced policy Second-It appears this is a mask less facility. Members and employees don't maintain proper social distance. Don't believe there is a Covid policy in place, even though the home page boasts public safety is a major concern-false advertising for sure.Third-Recently, I took a shower in the men's locker room, I had a hair ball brush up against my foot that sent me scrambling to figure out what touched me. I thought it was an animal. Disgusting!Fourth-The public hot tub is not being properly maintained or sanitized. Today, there appeared to be poop-like material smeared at the waterline of the hot tub. The suction side of the system was non-functional, so no water was being filtered and returned to the tub. The hot tub water was just being circulated, no sanitizing chemicals being dissolved, little pieces of poop-like material floating around in the hot tub. I pointed this out to the site GM ***************** and ***** Volt since I became a member two weeks ago. I suggested numerous times to shut the hot tub down, rope it off! They just deflected, deferred, and blamed the pool maintenance company for poor service. ***** deflected and deferred when asked to provide the regional manager's name so I could follow up with upper management.
