The company has failed to deliver a refund for a deposit that was paid in the amount of $95. All forms for the refund agreement were signed on 05/23/2024 and I have not received a reply regarding the estimated time window for resolutionBusiness response

Hello - i have only recieved one email (attached) from this buyer, it was yesterday, 6/17/24 @ 8:05am EST.
I processed the return of the deposit on 6/17/24 @ 8:31am EST.
Screenshots attached of the email i recieved, as well as the screenshots from our Stripe Payment account showing when the refund was processed. She sent the payment on 4/30, we sent a reciept on 5/2, and then the refund was 6/17.

We bought a newly build home by this company in December we were the first house to be completed on the street by February we start having issues with our yard flooding and subsequentially water coming through our front door and garage due to culvert being blocked with building materials we communicated our concerns to the builder and they stated that they would take care of it months have passed by in the culvert to still blocked in addition to that the builder elevated the houses around us which caused our lot to flood even more with water I emailed the company after seeing them, lift another yard and dig a hole through the middle of our yard without our permission and ask for explanation, and they gave none nor have they let us know when theyre going to fix the situation we were told that our area was not a flood zone, but water sits for days on in on our lot. Weve escalated this to the escalation Rep, and he just stopped responding to us. Under our warranty of our house, it says that the company will adhere to the building codes set by the county land is no longer to code. Which is a warranty issue. The company has engage in unethical behavior due to them, not following through with their commitment to adhere to the plan that they submitted to the cityBusiness response

Hello -
in the documents attached by the customer you can see emails where i have communicated that we will be coming in and cleaning out the drains to ensure proper drainage. Per the *** documents and Home Purchase / Warranty the homeowner is responsible for ensuring that items do not block the drain and that the grading on their homesites is maintained.
In this case (and when those photos were taken) - ********** had SIGNIFICANT flooding.
The cause of this flood was 2 part: 1.) incredible amounts of rainfall that caused streams, rivers and lakes to flood the area and 2.) due to this rainfall the lake (*************************) which north of this community opened the dam to release water causing additional flooding throughout the communities below.
We have ZERO complaints, warranty requests or photos of ANY water that has entered this homebuyers home. or any other home in the community. we had 2 homes with minor roof leaks out of 100+ homes. neither of which was this customer. .
Within 2-3 days of the initial complaint regarding the drains our customer experience team visited the customer at their home and have met with them numerous times. Only to be confronted with accusations and curse words. we have now been threatened with legal action and must limit our correspondence with this customer.
After the flooding it took a few days for the water to go down, clear the roads so vendors could access the community (many roads and bridges outside of the community were flooded). Once we were able to assess the situation we submitted our internal docs for approval and for the drains to be cleaned. While that was in process the ******* area experienced a tornado taking out power for hundreds of thousands of people and limiting work crews due to the state of emergency. That caused an additional delay. Per my emails to the customer we are planning to clean out all the drains, we have passed all inspections per the city / municipality requirements and have built the home correctly and safely.
