This is the second time I booked a company event with Whirly Ball. The first time, the catering was an absolute joke. I ordered a sushi platter which looked and tasted like what you get at Publix. There was far less food then I was told there would be. For that event, I ended up having to order food from outside to make sure my team was fed properly and the event was enjoyed. I just booked another event for last night, 9/8/22. I expressed my concerns with the manager who was assisting me to book the event, ***, from my previous experience. I stressed that I did not want a repeat. He suggested he was not too surprised based on the fact t was the sushi. I suggested I was fine with paying the cleaning fee to bring in outside food for the event, to ensure I would not be embarrassed upon arrival like the last time. *** assured me that the pizza & wing package would be great and I should not have to worry. Well, when I arrived, there was a hot tray of what they said were the wings. They resembled turds more than a chicken wing (even if you try to sell them as boneless, they were tine chunks), and half the tray was burnt. There was nothing with the wings that one would typically receive such as celery/carrots nor any dressing. It is a shame that this is how they take care of customers, especially when they were made clear of the previous experience. They tried to make me feel better by getting some actual wings ordered, and not charge me for them as if they were doing me a favor. The email from *** was a joke and lacked any accountability, care, or empathy with the embarrassment this caused and the failure to deliver on what was promised. It is truly unfortunate as the game itself is super fun. I have played it since I was a teenager a long time ago. However, I would NEVER book any type of event with this place again and would suggest any company looking for a fun night, to make sure you are not using their catering as you will be very disappointed.
