On September 20, 2023 I purchased a maintenance plan with Turner Brothers. It covered two visits a year with cost of $199. First service was September 20, 2023, and I began calling on April 22, 2024 to set up the spring visit. I called twice on 4/22 and left voice mails both times. Called 4/23 and left a voice mail. No response to these calls. On May 6 I called and got a recording that the mailbox was full. I sent an email to ***************************************************** stating that I had a maintenance contract and that my three phone cals were not returned. I stated that I wanted to schedule maintenance immediately, and if that is not possible, I expect a refund of $99.50. Further, I stated that if I did not receive a response by end of business day on May 8, I would file a complaint with BBB. I received no response.Customer response

********************- thank you for your timely response acknowledging my complaint #********. I know it's a small amount of money - less than $100-but it is symptomatic of the lawlessness of the business.

On January 18, 2024 ( Invoice #********) we ordered a new pump for our HVAC system and paid a down payment of $850.00, being one-half of the total cost. The pump has NEVER been provided and many excuses given for not doing so. We had a different company provide the needed pump and have continuously asked ******************** to repay our deposit, without success, despite the fact that he has told us and the *************************** to whom we complained, that the refund has already been initiated -- that is a complete lie as no money has ever been sent to us.Customer response

I hired Turner Brothers heating and air to install an HVAC system in my house so I could put it on the market and paid a down payment of $3150 almost two months ago. After they missed three appointments I called to get a refund. It has now been 5 weeks since I first request a refund and the company and owner will no ****** answer my phone calls or call me back. The owner also refused to provide me with any Confirmation that the refund was submitted and would only give me his word. I still have not received my refund and at this point they have stolen 3k from me.Initial Complaint

This business quoted me a price of $5000 to replace the AC duct work in my house. An initial deposit of $2000 was made before the work began. After the work was completed their technician was supposed to charge my card $3000 but instead charged my card for the full amount of $5000. Multiple attempts were made to contact the company. I was given excuse after excuse and was then told I would be mailed a check to refund me the $2000. After over a month I have not received a check and the company will no longer return my phone calls.
