My husband had them prepare our taxes in April. I went to the location on April 15th to gather my paperwork so I can pay the *** and get my paperwork. When i went there they had me sit down while they looked for my file which they did not find. I asked for it to be printed while i wait. There printer was not working. I waited over an hour in the office while they were waiting on other customers as well. They could not find my file so i had them tell me how much i had to send to the *** which they did. I thought everything was good until I contacted the State of ******* to check on the status of my refund and found they have no record of our 2023 tax return. I then looked to see if the federal had been filed and it shows i have a credit because i sent them money and they have no tax return for 2023 either. I have made multiple attempts to contact the business and have driven to both locations on file which they are no longer doing business out of. They have not responded and all i want is my paperwork back. I still have to file my taxes and cannot as they have my w2. My next recourse is to file a police report
