I had a 2017 GLC 300 coup and I love that car so much because I got it the day my brother died. I had the car for for almost 3 years and I started to have issues with the car. Mercedes service said it was the engine with a misfire because when you would step on the gas it would putt putt because it wasnt getting any gas to the engine and it would cost me around $11,000 to ne fixed to replace the engine. I was explaining to the mechanic that it is just sounding like he is speculating what is wrong with my car. He finally just said he had never had this issue nor seen it. The check engine lights were on and I had to end up trading my car in with the lights on and all they gave was $5,000 for the trade in which I would have gotten much much more if not for this issue. I went from a $618 car note to a $1099 car note. This was June 8, 2023 I had to get another car. I was not about to downgrade my car because all I drive are Mercedes and this happened around the time that the cars were triple cost now. I was very happy with my 300 GLC but I did fall in love with my AMG-43 too. But low and behold 3 months after my purchase of my GLE 43 they send me a letter acknowledging the issues and extending the warranty after I had already purchased another car. I have called to Mercedes *** trying to get this fixed and compensated but they always forward me back to the dealership and they cant help me. I would love for Mercedes *** to make this right because I really did get less the value for my car and now I am almost paying double for my car note. Please dont get me wrong because I love Mercedes and wouldnt drive anything else but come on please fix this for a very dedicated customer. Thank you!!!
