I dropped my key into a storm drain. I went to the dealership to get a replacement. They wanted to charge me $815 for the key, and $190 to program the key once it arrived. I've owned the car two years, and have generally been happy with the experience. But this reminded me that MB is not exempt from corporate money grabs. They got me to buy the car, and now I have to pay $1000 to replace my key? Man, was that upsetting. My guess is there are certainly going to be more of these gotchas if I ever need any other replacement parts. Anyway, I got a key off **** and had an auto locksmith to program it for <$150 all in.

I have purchased four Mercedes and I have never been this disappointed about a car in my life.Your cars are starting to have poor performance and not the great performance it used to have. Also I took my car in for the ignition switch and they damage the brake lines, so I had my car towed home and had someone else fix it. I was very upset that Mercedes was not even willing to pay half the cost of the repairs. I will never buy another Mercedes again. You guys are failing at your service. You get a D- in my book.

I hesitantly took my brand new 2022 GLC 300 to this dealership. I wish I never looked this way. My vehicle was running excellent before all of this. There was a recall so I took it in. After they fixed the recall Ive had nothing but problems. The car has been back n forth in the shop over 5 times. Every time Im told its fixed. I was told about the buy back program. Went through the process and was denied for not continuing to take the vehicle to the shop (straight up LIE!) I called corporate and my rep told me he knows I was taking it in and told me to speak with management at the dealership because they have a relationship with the decision makers. I talked to management and was so frustrated because my car continues to not drive properly. It was stalling, gas wouldnt register, loud engine. With my vehicle being at the dealership so many times you would think they would go above and beyond for me. I did not even get the courtesy of a loaner vehicle this time ( car in the shop more than a week). I opened up another buy back inquiry and was told a couple days later it was denied because I missed the 2 year cut off. I was over the cut off by months. Never told this when I did the 1st inquiry a couple weeks earlier. I will never take my vehicle to this dealership and never buy another Mercedes. These are the worst cars ever!

My 2nd Mercedes. This time around has been the worst repair experience I've ever had. I got this van @ 11k miles & from the start, I've had issues with many indicators popping up on the dash. I went to Mercedes in Dothan AL & told that they didn't know how to handle ********* needed to research. Once I came back, they replaced the seat belt, which caused an airbag indicator. They also replaced the switch to the passenger window, which wasn't working. They said the collision assist was popping up bc I drive for extended periods of time w/o another vehicle beside me. After their repairs, the check engine light came on. I contacted *********** told me it had nothing to do with them. I then took it to Mercedes Easton, where they state the check engine light is from a faulty sensor. They replaced it & the check engine light to came back on a few days later, along with the interior lights flicking on/off & doors locking & unlocking. I took it back 2 weeks later, where they claimed a wire was cut & I needed a new filter, so they replaced the wire &had me pay $200 for a filter. Check engine light came back on 2 days later. Did they miss the wire the first time? This all started at nearly 12k ****** ***** I am at 95k, which will go beyond my 100k warranty. I filed a complaint with Mercedes & asked for the Director of service to call me from ****** to no avail. The service advisor says that if it has the same code as the 1st time I brought it, they will fight Mercedes to get it fixed without me having to pay. My issue is that they never truly found the original issue, so what if it has progressed to show something else now? Will they not honor repairs? Why are they only fixing exterior components & not ALSO investigating what the code says is wrong-Turbo/Supercharger Inlet Pressure Sensor Circuit High? The pressure at the supercharger inlet could be too high. I have a transportation biz so when I come off the road to address this, I lose ********** time is wasted. Never again

Mercedes Benz corporate in ******************, ** has failed me as a customer. *************************************** (CEO) is the corporate leader, and his grasp of customer service is substandard. I have a ******************************** with low miles (less than 68,00 at time of discrepancy) that experienced a malfunctioning fuel gauge, which failed to register fuel levels. I took the vehicle in for service and the technician (*******) explained that the malfunction is unusual and he first tried replacing the fuel sensor which did not correct the issue. His problem solving eventually led to a short of the electrical components. The vehicle has been to all MB certified facilities, and I did not understand how the high-end vehicle would experience such a malfunction. I reported the incident to the service manager in ******, and he assisted me with getting the ticket opened on the investigative process that could possibly reimburse me the monies spent to have a new fuel assembly installed. I had a representative (*******) assigned to the case, but she has not returned any of the 12 calls that I have made to her nor has she answered my emails. She did initially make a call to me, but I was unable to answer that particular call. As an executive referral manager (*******'s title), I would hope that she takes the title serious. She has been unreachable since January 30, 2024. I have also sent mail correspondence to the corporate address in ********************** that has gone unanswered. I have remained in contact with the ** of services at the ********* facility, and he too has informed me that he has tried to reach several customer service representatives in ***************************************** office, but has been unsuccessful. I will refrain from purchasing any MB product in the future for these reasons. I am extremely disappointed. You have lost a loyal customer.

Mercedes Benz experience has been poor at best. I have a 2023 GLE53 AMG, that has had multiple recalls -- all of which from the description are dangerous (ground connection issue resulting in fire under passenger seat, spontaneous stalling of vehicle) and some have no fix. The recall letters state repairs are "at no cost to you" however, when you call, they will not provide a loaner car unless you purchase additional services, and will not provide a timeframe for the repair if you wait. I not only had to deal with the dealership on this (MB of ********) who's appt. rep said if you get an oil change or service, you can get a loaner. However, if you just fix the recall you need to wait or drop off. Then I called MB Corp customer service and spoke with ***************************** who said there was nothing she could do, but ultimately said she would provide a good will credit to cover the Uber I'd need to take to get me back and forth to the dealer to drop off the car. We hung up and that seemed reasonable, until she called back and said she can't do it and only can provide the good will credit if I have a poor service experience not a recall. Isn't that fact that the car is unsafe and has had multiple recalls in a 1 year period a service issue? And is that yet again another way to say, if you pay for a service in addition to the recall, we can help you? Really questionable in terms of ethics and business practices.

I purchased my first Mercedes SUV in 2021. I was very excited and only 3 yrs later i am needing a $10,000 job on my vehicle. i thought this was outrages as their cars are meant to last especially for the price they are being sold for. i reached out to Mercedes *** to see if there was some kind of assistance they may provide. Well i got a response via email the next day, but the the person (*******, executive referral manager) in charge of my case has not been too responsive and it has been a month already of me sending follow up emails and leaving voice messages with no call back. I just want an update if they will be able to assist or not. This will be the last Mercedes purchased by us. And to think that we were thinking about taking our 3 teens to test drive a mercedes car as their first vehicle to purchase.

After a 12 year plus business relationship with Mercedes benz where we have fielded over 15 MB vehicles i can vouch for fact that since the pandemic the company has lost any sort of commitment to its costumers, their vehicles increase in price every quarter and the reliability, value and quality of their products and service department continues to abysmally crater to new lows every day.

NO customer support for their ****** navigation system when it fails to update or updates and then says "No access code" when you place it back in the vehicle. After contacting ****** support, they provided a reference number to login, but it cannot be accessed unless you are employed by Mercedes
