In December 2022, ***************************** reached out to 12th and Viv regarding a beauty collective store she was opening. She said this was a high traffic location and that we would receive custom marketing and promotion with increased visibility all while keeping 100% of your revenue! On 12/9/22 she requested a $900 payment for this collective space. On 12/10/22 the contract was signed and returned. We were then told the store would open in January, so we should send inventory as soon as possible. On 1/2/23 inventory ($5,000 worth) was shipped and confirmed by Marva Elaine of what was received. Before sending the inventory, we mentioned that the butters can melt if they are not properly stored. *** ****** assured us that the items were stored in a temperature controlled space and we had nothing to worry about. On 2/28/23 we received an email stating the store would open soon and that our contract would be honored with an additional complimentary month due to the opening delays. She also mentioned again that we would receive access to a reporting/dashboard to monitor sales. We never received access to this so-called dashboard. After hearing nothing of the opening, we reached out on 3/1 stating the butters need to be properly stored. Her response was Rest assured, all products are being kept under temperature controlled conditions. Still no word of when the store would open. On 5/22/23 we rounded back to inquire of the store opening, no word. 7/10/23 we received another email stating the store is opening 7/14/23 and that All contracts will be amended to reflect Showcasing through December 31st 2023, with renewal options for January 2024. We inquired again on 7/18. On 7/26 we received an email stating the name has changed from Collective by Marva Elaine to Marva Elaine. Keep an eye out for an updated agreement to your inbox with new term dates that cover the remaining of this year. On 8/23 we were sent an email stating 1 item sold. Anyway, several emails and only 2 payout another on 11/15/23. Cut to April 2024 they sent our items back damaged, butters where someone used a smooth to smooth them out and broken candles. This company obviously needed cash and used the funds for over a year without opening a store that was supposed to open January 2023. We were told we would receive another payout in April 2024. We have not received it and they have blocked email correspondence and social media so that we cannot contact them.
