I have been overcharged by this company. I am only there until the middle of October and the bill should be prorated. They also sent an email that they tacked on an additional 99.00 for trash they are claiming they didn't charge. They gave no warning and I have been paying a trash fee consistently every month. I have reached out with no response.Customer response

This apartment complex when we moved in never disclosed there are convicts living there. Second, there’s pot holes big enough to lay a person inside of and when I asked about them saying they’re very dangerous I was told that they would try to put it in the budget next year. Also their trash receptacle has hundreds of trash bags on the street on the ground and I’m not kidding I would post a pic to show you, this is the most disgusting place I’ve ever lived.Business response

In response to the complaint made on 12/30/2021 from ***** *****.
His first complaint is that we did not disclose that we have "convicts" here. Due to fair housing laws, we do not disclose any information about any of our residents to anyone, for any reason. When someone applies, they are all screened exactly the same way and must pass the exact same requirements. So, if someone is living here and is on a lease with us, they have gone through appropriate background screenings.
In his second complaint, he addressed potholes throughout the community. We continuously fill the potholes with asphalt and ask residents to avoid them, if possible, to prevent the erosion of the asphalt patches (which is doable). We are having our parking lot resurfaced in the coming year, to include new speed bumps, new striping, and new asphalt throughout the community.
The third complaint is dealing with the trash outside of our gates. This accumulated during the week of Christmas, due to residents not using the compactor properly, forcing the hydraulic lines to burst. With the holidays, we had not been able to get a trash pick-up scheduled. As of right now, (1/5/2022) all of the trash is gone.
If Mr. ***** would have come into the office or called about these issues, we would have been able to explain all of this to him. I am very sorry that he feels his home and community are "disgusting", if he would like to contact me, we can discuss ways of letting him out of his lease.
