In March 2021, I hired **** ********** ***** *o pressure wash and fill with permeatic sand my brick driveway and tile pool deck. *** **** is very professional and courteous, and carried out all of the jobs with his son. However, his product did not deliver as promised. There were many gaps in the driveway and pool deck and continuing weeds, and both looked severely worse than when he started. On the pool deck, his pressure washing was too aggressive and undercut the foundation of my deck, causing me to hire someone else to repair and the cost to repair that is over $1700. When I first found these problems when he was done, I approached him (kept very detailed text msg record) and he said he would honor the repairs, but he never came back after many many many times calling/texting/emailing. Further, I saw him in the neighborhood and approached him. He was kind and later sent his son over to kill weeds. His son killed one whole side of my yard from week killer overspray. I approached Mr. Kyle many more times, still being apologetic and I told him I would just like to get a refund, of which we agreed to 50% of the original total ($3600) so the refund would be $1800. He agreed to this in text and actually delivered $900 in cash in my mailbox. I have yet to receive the remaining $900. As mentioned, I have kept a detailed text record of the many times I have asked him. Every once in a while he sends an apologetic message and says he's on his way to my house on a certain day to pay the remainder. I have yet to see the money. I know he is a small business owner, and I do not want to ruin his business. I have not posted bad reviews on his site and do not intend on doing so, as I am not out to make him look bad. I am just seeking the remainder of the refund that he promised me in a kind and professional matter. I have no malice towards him. His lack of responsiveness has been a bit disturbing and bad business practice to always promise but never deliver.
