We closed on a new home at *** **** **** ** on February 1st. At the time of the closing, we were assured by Mr. **** **** that if we had any issues with the home inside the next year, he would be glad to assist us in repairs. On last week, my uncle contacted him to let him know that one of the garage door opener that we were given at closing doesn't work and weather stripping above the garage doors is already coming down ( see pictures). My uncle was assured that Mr. **** **** would get the garage door company to contact him and he would get someone out to fix the weather stripping over the door. This morning, I contacted Mr. **** **** for an update and wasn't given any level of the timely resolution to either issues (see email attachment.) My Mom has items in the garage that we don't want to be ruined by rain or pest due to the weather stripping lapsing over the garage. Mr. **** **** does not see the weather stripping as a hazard. When we've approached him before about making repairs, his responses have been "When is he getting paid" . When challenged, he left out of the final walk through in a huff and refused to answer our request about a damaged refrigerator that he'd allowed to stay in the home. The realtors accommadated us for his error, but I feel his gross non responsiveness in troublesome.Customer response

We'd reached out to his realtor to get the Garage Door company so that we can contact them ourselves directly. Thankfully, she responded with a contact. We are coordinating a repair date with them currently. I wish to keep this complaint, open, however until the repair has been made and is satisfactory.
