      Customers Statement of the Problem:

      This chair was delivered to the customer 9/13/2022.  We received a complaint regarding the heat and massage function 7/18/2023, which was still within the manufacturers warranty.  The manufacturer shipped the needed components to the customer to arrive 7/21/2023, and they scheduled a repairman to install the components 8/3/2023 at 11am.  To our knowledge, the repairs were completed.

      Have tried to contact this company for a while regarding defective products the fabric of My lift chair is complete coming apart at the Seams and is not coming up at the foot rest as it had previously done just fine they have not called us back at all and we have left 5 messages

      Good afternoon *****,

      I was under the impression that this complaint had already been addressed, so I apologize for the delayed response.  The situation with this complaint is simply that the chair was received by the customer back on 10/03/2021, the manufacturers warranty has long expired, there have been no previous complaints from the customer, and the customer did not opt for an extended warranty at the time of purchase.  Additionally, the damage being reported is physical damage caused by wear and tear which is not covered by the manufacturer. 

       

      Bottom line is that repairs are the customers responsibility at this point just like would be the case with any product that is no longer covered by the manufacturers warranty.

      I am rejecting this response because: This doesn't solve the problem with the defects and poor service on there part basics starting that it's not there job to do anything about cheep and poorly made goods that they are selling at an ****** high price to unknowing consumers, plus they are targeting the disabled communities at that. The chair was delivered in poor condition and has only gotten worse I would like it very much if you could at least call it even on the chair that you are no longer covering with a warranty so that I don't have to pay for a poorly made chair that no longer works and I can't use 

      Paying that much for a disposable chair is wrong. especially if you are getting a piece of trash. As a business you have a responsibility to your consumers to provide them with a quality product or at least not advertise a quality product Your commercials advertise a product of quality to a disabled or Or retired community Both of which need I remind you are protected class shame on you for preying on the elderly and infirm.

      My problem is the product does not work as promised. I have been dealing with this company for the past 6 months. There has been no resolution to the problem with the product. I have let them know time and again I no longer want the product but the company refuse to come get it. I have had to buy me a new chair from a very reliable company.

      The lift chair was delivered 12/01/2022 with a 14 day trial.  Once the trial expired, we could no longer take the chair back.  At that point we had to work within the manufacturer's warranty.  When the customer reported an issue with the chair 01/19/2023, we sent out a technician to diagnose the issue at no cost to the customer.  We then sent the technician's report to the manufacturer to have the needed replacement parts sent to the customer.  The manufacturer was backordered on one of the parts so we gave her a discount of $1,598.64 and reduced her payments $49.99 per month for the delay.  The customer received the parts 05/04/2023, and we sent the technician out to install them.  We have not heard from the customer and we have not been able to reach the customer since. If there is still an issue with the chair, we are more than happy to address it at no cost under the manufacturer's warranty.

      We are unable to refund a chair that was delivered in December of last year and is under manufacturer's warranty.  A technician was dispatched to install parts and fix the chair May 7, 2023.  According to the technician, the chair was repaired and working when he left.  We have not heard back from the customer since the repair, and we have made multiple attempts by phone and text to reach the customer.  Additionally, the customer previously agreed to a significant discount and reduced payments to offset any inconvenience by the manufacturer's delay in shipping parts due to a backorder.  If the customer will reach out to us and notify us of any issues she may still be having with the chair, we are more than happy to make the needed repairs at no charge according to the manufacturer's warranty.

      We filed a delivery dispute with our shipping company on behalf of the customer.  Non Stop Delivery (NSD) confirmed the delivery was completed to the Mr. ****** residence 1/21/2023 and provided the delivery receipt.  Mr. ****** complaint is with NSD not America's Lift Chair.

      I called NSD delivery and ask for a copy of the my signature for the delivery and they told me that it wasn't required they're going by what the truck driver said that he delivered the chair and NSD told me to call you American lift chair back and you're not answering my call to ask you whats the next step should I take now thank you ******* *****

      Good afternoon,

      We have spoken with ******* ***** on numerous occasions and have helped him as much as we can.  Mr. ***** ordered a lift chair from us that was delivered on 1/21/2023 by NSD (Non Stop Delivery).  Mr. ***** claims that he did not receive the chair, so we escalated his dispute with NSD.  NSD responded by providing the attached delivery receipt and confirmed the chair was delivered to Mr. ****** residence on 1/21/2023. Once NSD rejected the claim, we communicated that to Mr. *****.  Mr. ***** was not satisfied with that, so we provided him the contact information for NSD so that he could make a dispute with them.  According to Mr. *****, NSD also rejected his dispute based on their confirmation that the chair was delivered to his residence.  Mr. ***** then concluded that the chair may have been stolen from his residence and stated that he filed a police report with the Akron Police Department.  He provided the case number *********. 

      As you can see, we've had extensive communication with Mr. ***** and have assisted him as much as we can.  However, this is now a matter between Mr. ***** and the Akron Police Department.

      they call me offering me a 14 day free trail for a chair and charge me $99 a month for a chair that i didn't get until oct 3 of 2022 and they call and took my money in june of 2022 so i though they a fake and i so i report them to my bank and stop payment on the chair. so when the chair arrive at my house they just left it sitting on my front door with out me signing for it and i call them to let them know that i didn't want the chair and to pickup the chair and they didn't and now they are threating me to report to the credit bureau about their money and they refuse to come and get the chair. and that was since oct 3 2022 and now it the end of january 27 2023 and they send me a text saying that going to report me to the credit bureau because i haven't send any payment for the chair. can you please help me thank you.

      I received the complaint regarding *** **** and researched the situation.  It is true that we were experiencing some shipping delays at the time *** **** placed her order with us due to the well known shipping issues that were occurring nationwide.  We did process the initial deposit with her permission and got the chair to her as quickly as we were able to.  Since the date of this complaint, we did speak with *** **** on January 30th and offered her some very favorable terms so that she could keep the chair at a very heavily discounted rate. She was agreeable to the large discount, and we were able to resolve the dispute.

      Was contacted by lift chair and talked into trying the chair for thirty days and gave a hundred dollar deposit. Changed my mind and called back several times leaving messages saying I don’t want the chair refund my deposit. No one called me back so I assumed they canceled it. Two months later I’ve been charged another two hundred dollars for late payment then the chair arrives. Now it’s been 90 days since I canceled the chair. No body that works for them tries to fix the problem they just want more money. This should be against the law because I never even signed the paperwork because I don’t want the chair period because it’s junk and not worth almost five thousand dollars. All I want is my money back I don’t want the chair. Can u help ?

      We offer a 14-day trial after receiving the chair. *** ***** did not attempt to call until after the chair was delivered. On 11/04/22 we attempted to come to a resolution with *** ***** but he started screaming, cussing and hung up. He is in a verbal contract with us at this time and is due no refunds.

      There was a deduction to my account before product was taken off the truck we declined delivery…After Several phone calls we keep getting bills for a product I don’t have…Through our conversations they agreed to return the deposit… I have not received the refund as well as I Still receive bills

      Once we were notified that *** ******* refused delivery we had to wait until the chair arrived back to the terminal and was processed in. It’s a process that does take some time, and we could not issue the refund until that process was done. We have refunded both payments at this time. Attached are refund receipts.

      This company has a recording that calls our phone number 7 or more times a day and leaves the same message over and over. I have called the contact number that they leave and told them to take our number off their list, but when they realize I am not calling to take one of their chairs for a trial, they hang up on me. This harassment has got to stop.

      As of 10/04/22 we have canceled out *** ************* account with our company. He was past his 14-day trial period at the time he requested to return the chair so he was made aware that he would not be getting a refund for payments already made. We have reached out to the customer as of 10/19/22 and resolved the issues.

      This company keeps calling me from different local numbers and leaving voicemails requesting a call back to an 844 number. At best, this is unsolicited telemarketing and at worst, a scam. Calling repeatedly from decoy phone numbers is trickery and they should shut down
