I sent 45 dog grooming blades to this company to be sharpened. When I received them back, I noticed 1 30-blade had a chip out of the baseplate (rendering it unusable). I immediately called Davis and explained the situation. They said someone would get back to me however I waited 6 business days and never heard back so I called them again. It was at this time that I was told my blade arrived to them damaged. They would offer me a replacement of $26 credited to my next order. I informed them that I was not happy with this resolution and also mentioned how 22 of my blades that they sent back, that were supposed to be sharpened, are not cutting nor are they staying attached to my clippers. I mentioned that I had tried to replace several different parts, use several different clippers and none of these would resolve the issue. They said they would talk to the sharpening service and get back to me.After waiting another 4 business days I did not hear from Davis. At this time I emailed them and asked what the outcome was of the sharpening service errors. At this time they got very rude and sent me a response saying all the damage was in my hands, and they would not be willing to do anything to fix it. I responded that I would no longer be a customer.Business response

I need a clear understanding of what exactly the company means by:
we will gladly refund her that cost
Since I am not seeing a refund of any kind, what is the amount I will receive for the 23 blades that are now ruined?

We were waiting for a reply to see if it was agreeable. Copy of refund done today attached. It details that 20 blades were refunded at sharpening cost. Two of the 22 were at no charge on original order. Also refund at replacement cost for chipped ****** #** blade was included. Total refund was $144.93.
