      I signed up for a membership with the shooting range. It's been a year. I haven't used it enough, so I decided to cancel it. They won't let me cancel it over the phone. I have to go to the store in person to cancel. Not too bad, right? Well, not only do I have to drive to the store, I have to go there the last 5 days of the month. There is absolutely no reason for this. The only reason for it is they say "it's in the terms you signed." Okay. But the only reason they put it in the terms, is because they know it makes it super difficult to cancel. Very shady. It borders on being an all out scam.

      As a retail store the place is pretty good. Feels like going to ******* except for guns. Typical selection/pricing for ammo and guns, mediocre selection for anything else. Average people/new gun owners will be well served while enthusiasts will find most use from the ammo/reloading sales. I would give the place four stars if shopping where my only experience. As an FFL this place is below average. The process is pretty straight forward and the associates are great. The price is the standard 25. I have had them lose an order in the back, and also had to go in and call a manufacturer on speaker to get them connected (since there was some issue with the listed email.) But these were very small issues that the staff was eager to fix. If all I did was shop and FFL I would give them 3 stars. Their membership services are terrible. I used the 25 dollar membership for the range time for about 9 months until I outgrew the range (no "rapid fire" no holster work no SBRs no xyz depending on who is behind the counter) I needed a consistent place to practice so I cancelled my membership in person June 22. I was told the july charge would post, but in August I would not be charged. I called to cancel early September after seeing the charges continued. The man told me I had to wait until the last three days of the month to cancel. Fast forward to now, not only do they continue to charge my card but now I have pending charges for 75 dollars every day of October. They have not called or emailed to attempt to contact me and yet feel they can run me for **** dollars for a membership that costs 300 a year. Not only that but the charges continue after I cancelled the membership twice. Worse part is I actually find them a convenient and reliable resource for retail and recommend them to new shooters all the time! No more.

      Bad experience.. First I had to pay for my firearm before the background check was even approved. Next I had to wait 2 days for my approval;not the stores fault though. Here is the kicker; when I did return to pick up my firearm it took an hour. I showed the receipt to a guy, who looked at it for a split second and asked my last name(which is on the receipt) an he pulled the gun out,then they had to release it .This process involved person after person checking paperwork and serial number... The stupidity of all this is, NO ONE ever asked to see my ID. Just glanced at the receipt ,wasted an hour playing with paperwork, and I walked out with my gun.. All this security and background check an anyone could of walked in there with that receipt and left with a shotgun... Good thing I didnt lose or drop it,or had it stolen!!!.

      Horrible customer service. Rude scammers and very dismissive. Wouldn't cancel my subscription and refused to give me corporate number.

      I have heard of this customer but we have never met. As happens a different opinion to actual events. Our corporate number is not a secrete XXX-XXX-XXXX. This customer is writing complaints on several internet sites. I could comment on what I have been told but that would be hearsay. I give her credit for showing her anger to the public in a very determined manner. It is not our intention or policy to be "rude scammers and dismissive" as she has stated. We have been serving our customers for 44 years. I believe her "subscription" is actually a range membership. She has everything in writing how to cancel her range membership. It is not difficult and could have been done easily.

      If it was so easy to do then why wasn't it cancelled?
