      I did not sign up with this company. I have no idea who they are! From August 23, 2023 thru January 23, 2023 I was charged $30 a month. I did not receive any goods or services from them. This company is a bunch of con artists. I would like for them to show me what they supposedly did for me! I am disputing these charges with my credit union.

      We have researched our database and do not find your name, address, email address or phone number in our system. We do not find any transactions with your personal information on them. In addition, prior to this BBB complaint, I do not find any record of a phone call or email to myEcon from you about this issue. 

      Since I cannot find your personal information in our system, I can only assume you mean that your credit card was fraudulently used to make a purchase from myEcon.

      To better assist us in locating the charges, please email us the last 4 digits of the card used to make these charges. Once we have that information, we should be able to locate and identify the charges.

      Please email to  ********************************** as soon as possible and we will work to resolve this issue for you.

      On 6/30/23 at 11:00 AM ET, you enrolled in the online myCredit System (DIY online Credit repair and credit improvement training program) from your IP Address: 173.49.27.12. At the time of enrollment, you agreed your card would be charged $39.95 plus sales tax each month for the monthly subscription fee.
      Prior to the email from the BBB, I find no record that you previously requested to contact myEcon for any reason.  You could have requested cancellation and/or assistance via email to ********************************** , a phone call to ********* Services, (the phone number and hours are listed on the website as well as all emails sent to your email address at: ********************* or you could have initiated the cancel process yourself on the myEcon website.
      No problem, your account has been cancelled and you have been refunded for the 7/28/23 charge of $42.35. Please allow 3-5 business days to receive in your account.

      I gave this company 39 dollars a month for credit repair I didnt ask for any of there other services Well I got really busy then got long term Covid mono Just getting back on my feet and decided since my six months is up Ill do my credit report Well I couldnt f figure it out so I sent them a email for help didnt get a response after 3 weeks so I tried downloading dispute letters And cancelled my account and found the letters are not showing up it takes me back to sign in I paid 268 dollars and didnt get what I paid for I reached out to a rep who said I was trying to be slick by downloading letters I didnt see a problem with that since I paid 268 dollars Either help me or give me my money back its harder than it looks getting around that site

      On 3/16/22, Ms ******** enrolled in the myEcon Income Shifting Membership. The membership has a month to month subscription fee of $39.95. The membership includes several services and financial tools to include the myCredit System (Do It Yourself Credit improvement and training program). The monthly membership fee must be paid and current to get access to the membership and all of the included services.

      On 11/6/2022, Ms ******** logged in to her myEcon account and cancelled her membership. Effective immediately, she no longer was allowed access to the services.

      Ms ******** states I sent them a email for help didnt get a response after 3 weeks. As of the date of this complaint, I find no email was received by myEcon Support nor do I see any record of a call from Ms ******** about her complaint. Both the myEcon Support email and phone number are prominently displayed under the Contact link on the myEcon.net website. If the myEcon Support had received this complaint, I can assure you that it would have been resolved immediately.

      Per your request, I would be happy to resolve this today by giving her access to the myCredit System service. 

      I have reached out to *********** for resolution.

      I signed up almost a year ago for their travel assistance and cancelled 5 mos ago. Im still being billed $58 a month and can get no resolution.

      Hello Sir/Madam,
      ***************** enrolled with myEcon on 10/29/2021. The member states in her complaint with the BBB, cancelled 5 mos ago. Im still being billed $58 a month and can get no resolution. I checked the call logs for this account and found 2 calls where ***************** contacted us.
      The first call in the log shows on February 25, 2022, you called the Travel Reservations Hotline and requested to cancel. The log states the Reservations Rep informed you that they could not help you with the membership. They can only assist you with travel reservations or related issues. The rep stated that you needed to call myEcon at ************ for assistance with cancelaltion of the membership. The log states that you replied, I called that number but could not reach anyone, do you have a different number. The rep stated that is the only number we have.
      The only other call myEcon received from ***************** was on June 1,2022 at 4:16 PM ET. Per her request, her account was immediately cancelled and the most recent charge of $58.25 was processed for a refund. She told the myEcon **************** Rep ***** that she had cancelled 5 months ago and she wanted a refund for 5 months. The myEcon CSR stated that there was no record of her requesting cancellation prior to 6/1/22. She stated that she would call her bank.
      Prior to June 1, 2022 at 4:16 PM ET, I find no record of a phone call, email or letter from you of any complaints or requests to cancel the membership or requests for a refund. Had you made such request, we would have immediately fulfilled it, just as we did when you called on June 1st.
      You could have made the request via phone. The myEcon **************** receives calls Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM ET 7:00 PM ET. You could have contacted myEcon via email at ********************************** or ***************************** Or you could have logged in to your account on the website and requested cancellation of your membership there.
      ***************** made this complaint to the BBB on June 1, 2022 at 1:39 PM ET, which is BEFORE she contacted myEcon for resolution. 
      ***************** account was cancelled immediately upon her request and the most recent payment was refunded per our refund policy. Therefore, this issue is resolved. No other refunds are due.

      On 6/1/22, at 4:16 PM ET, you called myEcon Support and requested a cancellation of your membership and asked for a refund. Per your request, your membership was immediately cancelled and a refund for $58.25 was processed. Prior to 6/1/22, we have no record that you previously requested to cancel. You could have requested cancellation via email, a phone call, via mail or from your account on the myEcon website. There is no login from your account on the myEcon website requesting to cancel.

      We immediately cancelled your membership and refunded the most recent payment as soon as you made the request. No other prior payments qualifiy for a refund. This case is closed.

      I was told from my Econ if I follow the steps my credit would boos and would help remove student loans and other negative credit stuff on my report I followed the steps and nothing got removed and also talked to ****** via ******** and was told to start over again why would I start all over again if did not work

The myEcon membership is an online month-to-month subscription of $39.95/mo.The Income Shifting Membership includes online services and tools to assist in improving a persons personal finances. One of the services included in the membership is the myCredit System. The myCredit System is an online video training system which teaches member how to improve and build their personal credit. The myCredit System DOES NOT do credit repair nor does the system guarantee any specific results. However,the system does show you the process to dispute errors or incorrect items on your credit report so you can do it yourself, if needed.  myEcon DOES NOT do credit repair.
      *************** states that "he followed the steps to remove student loans and other negative stuff on his credit report and nothing got removed".The myCredit System teaches members the process to dispute incorrect items or errors on their credit report. This dispute process is directly from the **** (Fair Credit Reporting Act). If you feel the response you received from the credit bureau is incorrect, then you are to follow the process of disputing the items again. The myCredit System explains what to do if the items on your report are in fact incorrect or errors and the bureaus did nothing to correct it. You must complete the entire process. If after following all of the dispute processes and they are still not corrected or removed, then the credit bureaus have deemed these items as correct. The myCredit System can only give you **** instructions on the process to follow.
      You mentioned someone named ****** on ******** told you to start over again. To get the desired results you should complete the entire dispute process.
      As of the date of this BBB complaint, 1/6/2022, myEcon has not received, via email, a phone call, via mail or via the members website, any complaint about the service or any requests to receive a refund.
      The members subscription has been cancelled. He will not be billed again. All of the advertised services were provided and available to the member, therefore no refund is due.

      Hello, In ******************* original complaint he stated that "he followed the steps to remove student loans and other negative stuff on his credit report and nothing got removed".  myEcon's response was then and still is...The myCredit System teaches members the process to dispute incorrect items or errors on their credit report. This dispute process is directly from the **** (Fair Credit Reporting Act). If you feel the response you received from the credit bureau is incorrect, then you are to follow the process of disputing the items again. The myCredit System explains what to do if the items on your report are in fact incorrect or errors and the bureaus did nothing to correct it. You must complete the entire process. If after following all of the dispute processes and they are still not corrected or removed, then the credit bureaus have deemed these items as correct.

      The myCredit System makes no guarantees that items on your credit report will be changed and/or corrected. But what the myCredit System does is give you the **** instructions on the process to follow to dispute items you believe are incorrect.

      Hello, ***************** enrolled in the online myEcon membership on 6/19/2021. The myEcon membership is an online month-to-month subscription of $34.95/mo. The Income Shifting Membership includes online services and tools to assist in improving a persons personal finances. One of the services included in the membership is the myCredit System. The myCredit System is an online video training system which teaches how to improve and build your personal credit.The myCredit System DOES NOT do credit repair. However, the system does show you the process to dispute items on your report, if needed, so you can do it yourself.  myEcon DOES NOT do credit report.

      All of the advertised services have been provided and were available to the member. To date, the member has never logged in to the website or to his online account.

      As of today, 1/5/2022, myEcon has not received, via email, a phone call, via mail or via the members myEcon website, any complaint about the service or any request to cancel the service or any requests to receive a refund.

      Effective immediately, the members subscription has been cancelled. He will not be billed again. I have also refunded the most recent subscription payment that was charged on 12/19/2021 in the amount of $34.95. Please allow 3-5 business days to see the credit in your account.
