I took my **** ****** Forester to the Take 5 oil change location #**** at *********************** on 12/08/2023 at 11:36AM. Transaction number is *****. I pulled into the bay and everything started out normal. I was the only car in the shop at the time, so all attention was on me. When the pit tech (******) actually went to work, I could feel a jerk on the car and then heard OH SH*T! I asked the *** ****** if everything was going OK and she told me to stay in my car. The tech came out of the pit 2 or 3 times to get tools and parts and also announced to coworkers that he had a plug leaking bad down here. He also asked the other coworkers to bring him parts and tools. This is not a normal oil change. I asked again if everything was OK and was assured that it was. I went straight home to my garage, looked under the car to see a pink drizzle of transmission fluid running out from a shiny NEW plug in my transmission pan. Brand new plug in my TRANSMISSION pan? I came in for an oil change? I took the car to a real mechanic up the street immediately because your Take 5 staff set me up for disaster if I had waited any longer (I went for the oil change because we had a trip coming up the next day). The mechanic examined the pan and leak and concluded that your employee ******** opened the wrong drain plug, emptied out about half my transmission fluid, put in a new plug and cracked the transmission pan during that process. Then sent me on my way with a wave and have a good day. Thanks a lot.The price for the worst oil change ever: $57.06. The price for replacing the Take 5 damaged transmission pan: $430.29. I am asking to be reimbursed for the problems your folks have directly caused me. I will gladly share pics of the Take 5 paperwork and my itemized mechanic invoice. I have the damaged pan if you want to show ******** how to do an oil change. My mechanic says to call him if you need more info, happy to share the number if you want it.

Charged me over $100 for an oil change they didn't perform. Didn't hook up the air filter properly after attempting to check it (which should have been a red flag for problems down the road). Which all ended up being a problem down the road. I want my money back for the oil change and compensation for the new oil change and diagnostic fees.

On 11/13/23 I went to Take 5 for an oil change, and paid $91.44 for it. On 11/27/23 my vehicle stopped in the middle of the highway, which was very traumatic for me with cars passing left and right. When able to get the vehicle over to the side of the road, my friend opened the hood and determined that there wasn't any collant in the vehicle, it was completely empty. I called the location the next day asking what do they do when doing an oil change and was told (check your coolant level), which they obviously didn't do. Because I had no leakage from under the car and if they had done what they were supposed to do (check my coolant), they would have seen that it was low and top it off. Because of the vehicle overheating, my radiator was damaged and has to be replaced. This isn't the first issue Ive had with this company, on two other occasions I have had to return the vehicle because after the oil change the oil was leaking out. They do inferior work at customers expense. I want a total refund.

On Friday, July 8, I went in for an oil change. I ended up having to wait quite a while for a filter due to them not having one on hand. They had already removed everything from my car and I sat there for a while. Eventually they did complete my oil change. However, now I have another issue. I left and as I was traveling on the highway, my splash guard came off and began to drag due to it not being put back on correctly. Now, the entire piece needs to be replaced. I took my car to my mechanic and they stated it was due to it not being fastened. I would like to be reimbursed or for this repair to be made on behalf of the company.
