The first surgery was done December 2021 the second surgery was done June 2022 to fix the 1st surgery . I paid a total of $3,000 for a surgery that I am very angry with. The end results are worst than the original problem. During my consultation it was stated there will be no scaring or bruising after the healing process . I went to *************************** and had a under eye surgery that resulted in my right eye having a deep noticeable incision cut and my left eye having extra skin and deep incision cut. Under both eyes look like welps damage... major puffiness. This was a surgery that the doctor stated a small incision would be placed under my eyelashes not even noticeable and healed within 6 weeks from surgery date it's going on a year and a half and I am not happy nor satisfied with the results. I have called the office and left numerous messages with no call back no resolution at all. I do not feel comfortable going out in public because of the way my eyes look and I am very dissatisfied with the ending results.

******************** underwent a lower lid blepharoplasty as described and due to residual hypertrophy of the obicularis muscle in the left lower lid underwent a partial excision of the muscle. Her complaints as she described to me concerned the residual obvious scaring from the procedure.  Obviously, any surgical procedure on the skin results in scarring.  By making the incision below the eyelash margin, the incisions generally are not noticeable and easily hidden by concealers.   When doing surgery around the eyes we obviously try to minimize scarring but in spite of our best efforts, we cannot control how an individual will heal.  Indeed, complications, albeit rare, do occur.  Now, in ********************************* case, I do agree that the scarring is noticeable, but I feel that with further treatment a good result can still be obtained.  As such, and sincerely wanting to help her, I arranged for a second opinion and arranged for a third opinion as to how best to proceed.  I have not heard back from the third opinion yet and do no know if she even followed through with this.

My plan was to see her through the process and help in any way to manage her care.

As far as reimbursement is concerned, I did perform the surgery for which she paid.  The surgeon fee was not $3000 by the way.  I also did the revision and numerous office visits at no charge. I was hoping to continue her care which could include further procedures also at no charge.  If she would prefer to go elsewhere for her care however, I would agree to reimburse her for whatever I was paid for her surgical fee and we would therefore have to sever our relationship.  Unfortunately, I cannot reimburse her for the surgery center or anesthesia fees that she paid.

I went to both second opinion referral doctors you referred me to go to and both said they could not fix the scarring and deep incision on my face. There was a bigger issue. I have numerous times called and left messages for you to contact me and I never heard back from you. This is the 1st time since this year I am getting a reply and update about my situation with your office. Please confirm the payment amount for the surgical fee.

We are in process of refunding the patient. That was the conclusion after speaking with her.
