      In May of 2024, I replaced the back rotors and pads and brakes on a 2009 ******* Sonata at Mavis Tire in ***********. Its sept 1st and they are still under warranty. I brought the car to Mavis Tire in *********** and they told they would replace the parts under the warranty. the first guy, ***, that i spoke to said they would have to charge me $114 for labor but he would waive that because i was going to need back calipers. He then proceeded to tell me that each caliper was $239-289 depending on the one needed for my particular car. I asked for the part number and asked if i found it online, would they only charge me labor to put them on. *** said yes!I found the part for $37.50 each on amazon. I called Mavis and told them i found them cheaper. Another guy got on the phone named *****, he said he has to charge me labor for the calipers. I said ok. he then proceeded to tell me the labor was over $300. When I asked why he said he has to charge me $175 in labor for the Brakes and rotors even though they are under warranty!!! This was after *** said he was going to waive that. I asked for the warranty parts and the refuse to give them to me and said i have to pay the %175 in labor to get them! That makes no sense!

      Date of transaction: 3/28/2024 Paid $150 I took my vehicle to Mavis for an oil change upon leaving with the vehicle it shuts down and the oil light along with coolant light is flashing. Took the vehicle back to Mavis they admitted to severing the coolant line while changing the oil and stated they ordered a part to replace it and the vehicle needs to stay overnight. The next day when leaving with the truck same thing happened when I made it home took it back to Mavis on 3/30/2024. Was told by the mechanic that they will change the oil again. Now leaving with the truck on this day same issue vehicle keeps shutting down. Decided to take it to another auto shop and they were able to see the line that Mavis severed was not replaced with a new part it was patched. Also the oil filter was not replaced and only 5 quarts of oil was filled and the vehicle takes 8. Mavis lied about fixing my vehicle and completing the oil change so decided to reimburse for the oil change but now Im left with charges of 1300 that I cant afford that they are refusing to fix. I still have no vehicle and have been without a vehicle over a month. I paid for a rental for a few days while this took place being that the store manager stated they will pay for the damages. Now that I presented them with the invoice they are refusing to pay the invoice. The mechanic stated that when they attempted to complete the oil change with them trying to get the filter back in they severed the coolant causing other hoses to be damaged in the process. Mavis has not called me back and is refusing to contact ***** to confirm exactly what they fixed and why it needed to be fixed. This has caused me so stress. I was just released from the hospital and dealing with this is causing my pressure to rise again. I have tried numerous times to make contact with the regional manager and she has yet to call me and speak to me and has denied the open ticket to pay the invoice. No one has apologized or tried to rectify the issu

      I went to Mavis to change a whole new set of tires on 4/29/2024 morning which cost me $1,200 already. In the afternoon while driving my car back I noticed the tire pressure for front left tire (which was originally fine before I took it to the shop!) is abnormally low, I thought they just didn't put enough air in my tire. The next day when I was trying to drive to Mavis and have them fix it, I realized my tire is completely flat. I contacted Mavis and have them come to my apartment for a flat tire service which they charge me another $120 for it then told me it's because the wheel is cracked which causes the tire leaking. And now I have to spend another $160 to fix my wheel. Mavis doesn't even try to help solve the problem they caused. They just kept telling me it's not their fault and ask me to contact the wheel repair shop myself.

      I went to Mavis in ************ **.onJanuary 15th. I informed the salesman that my tire pressure was low . He went outside to check the tread on tires. His response was that I will shortly be needing new tires. The tires were less than 4 years old He didnt offer to put air in the tires instead he probably just wanted the sale. I was the 1st person to be waited on and after I got home II called the store & wanted to get the old ********** said they were taken away in the dumpster. After replacing the first set of tires I find that they would take them away immediately.. I feel that I was mislead & that I was over charged. I talked to the Manager of the store as well as the Regional Manager, who both were definitely abrupt and not costumer focused. They offered me 2 free synthetic oil changes which costs $200 which I dont need.I would appreciate a response as soon as possible.THANK YOU!************

      Got my car for tire replacements. They told me I needed tire sensors. Light has been continuously on dash board now. Took vehicle to dealership. They said I never needed sensors and only oem parts would solve my problem. Mavis is refusing to install OEM parts to fix a problem they created

      My car was having trouble starting so i went to mavis discount tire 12/11/23 to get some help. They told me they would try an evap leak detection pump and filter to see if it would fix the issue that was $294.41. And it did not fix the issue they then recommended a crankshaft angle/position and it still would not start that was another $157.67. At this point i took my car home because even after all the work they did it still would not start. Before i left they told me they THINK i needed a fuel pump because the gas wasnt getting to the engine. I didnt have that type of money and took the car home. The next day it wouldnt start so i got it towed back to mavis discount tire so they could do the fuel pump they recommended. They charged me on 12/14/2023 $1223.50 for the fuel pump and when i came to pick it up it still wasnt starting even though they told me it was running good and ready to go. Not to my surprise 12/15/23 i tried to get my car started at my house and it would not start, so your telling me after all that work i got done with mavis discount tire my car still doesnt start? so i had to call aaa and they decided to give me a new battery, after that my car started right away! so im confused as to why mavis discount tire did all of this unnecessary work on my car when i only needed a new battery to fix the issue. Lastly 12/28 i went to another mechanic and told them my horror story with mavis. they told me i got scammed and the pricing was all wrong. Currently they are checking to see if any work was actually done and if i needed the work mavis recommended. Reason being the evap code is still on that mavis said they fixed. If it was fixed the code would 100% not be showing up anymore. The whole situation is totally unethical and for a young women who doesnt know much about cars it seems as tho they took advantage of me.

      I went to this shop to get work done. I told them I had a problem with my car I kept hearing noises in the front. They changed my struts rotors and brakes but the problem I had is worse now. They had told me they would change it today I should be able to get my car back by 11. They part never came in on time and they dont have the tool to complete the job when they told me they did have the tool. Im missing time from work because of this and Im not getting compensation for missing any time.

      9/23/2023 I purchased 4 new tires. Cost ******. On Nov 26th a tire blew a hole large enough to put 4 fingers in it after only about 500 miles driven. Defected tired!! I called Mavis and was told I need to contact the manufacturer, But was not able to give a contact number to the manufacturer or corporate number.

      I purchased a front and rear end alignment from Mavis *************** The initial services was performed at ***********************************************************************************. After I noticed significant inside wear on the rear tires, I filed a complaint ticket with customer service. I was instructed to take my vehicle ( 2010 Cadillac SRX Base) back to the location for repair. Service was performed on my vehicle and my original tires (2 rear) were also replaced. I later rotated the tires from front to rear and noticed that they were wearing in the same place (inside only). I re-rotated the tires because I had purchased two tires from ******** I filed another complaint with Mavis ************** for the same issue. My ticket number is 0500-857461. I received a voicemail from the Regional Manager ******* on or around November 8, 2023. After discussing the matter, I was instructed to take my vehicle to the center at ***************************************************** I went to the location on November 10, 2023 after leaving work early. Upon arrival, I spoke with a lead technician who came out and looked at the damage. He informed me that he would contact the Regional Manager (*******) to confirm replacement of the tires and that I would be contacted the next day. After not receiving a return call I called the location the following morning. The technician stated that he couldn't get in touch with ****************** and would call me on Monday November 14, 2023. I did not see a call on Monday November 14, 2023 so I called this morning and spoke with a technician whom stated that no one there had any knowledge of the matter. This prompted me to file the complaint. Any resolution of this matter would be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.***************************

      Got my oil changed about a month and half ago and while just checking my engine this week of course I checked the dip stick it was not showing on it so went back to my receipt from them and they only pick 6 quarts of oil in my 2019 Silverado and it calls for 8 quarts there is no way it showed up on the dip stick when they changed it this was in ********* ** I hope they have not messed up my engine
