******************************* of Unique Image Renovation was hired to tear down, remove, and rebuild a 10x10 residential wooden deck. The scope of work for the new deck was to include installing new wooden support beams, deck boards, enclosure lattice around the bottom of the deck, stairs wrapping around 3/4 of the deck, a side rail, and a hand rail. The tear down was completed as agreed to. The new support beams and deck boards were replaced as agreed to (with the exception of a final deck board by the porch door). However, a part had to be ordered to build the stairs. ****************** said the part was on back order for 6 weeks. We agreed to wait on its delivery. It has now been 4 months, and the work is not complete. Though asked repeatedly, ******** will not provide an order slip proving the part was ordered.The scope of work was agreed to on June 23, 2023, and the demolition began July 1, 2023. As of November 14, 2023, the following work is incomplete:--no stairs have been built --no hand rail has been installed --no enclosure lattice as been installed --the side rail is incomplete --the final deck board has not been installed Additionally, the scope of work included replaced a rotten board under the porch. The rotten wood has not been replaced.
