      I contracted through ******* to have my home content moved from ******* to ********. I selected the $100,000 coverage with $0 deductible option, which was more costly to us but thought to be helpful at the time. They delivered outside of the delivery window, requiring that my father who lived nearby accept the delivery. My father questioned the driver about a ~$600 ladder that he knew to be ours that was not being unloaded. I am told that he was informed that this belonged to someone else. When I filed the claim, which included more than just this ladder, I was told an internal review was done and that I would not be compensated. Had I known this is their practice, I would never have opted for the more expensive $0 deductible plan and likely would have just moved with another company.

      I have read the complaint from customer and apologize they felt there were misled with the valuation purchased. The claim was handled by North American Van Lines in Ft. ****************** whom are the ones who research and handle all claims on interstate shipments. The customer at time of delivery did not mark off any missing items no damages which I have attached for your records. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      My belongings were delivered outside of the agreed upon window, forcing me to call in a favor with my father who graciously agreed to be present at drop off.  He can not be expected to know what belonged to me.  This delivery outside of the agreed upon window denied me the ability to screen the items and inform them that the ladder that remained on their truck was mine.

      Please see the document below titled BBB Complaint as it was too much text for this box. I have pictures of everything that was damaged and can share once I hear from someone as those files are too big to attach to this document. There are still boxes missing that no one has mentioned to help us locate.Below you will see our contract with *******, the email I sent ******* after the 1st truck delivered our items, Statement of Claims 1 and 2, and the two detailed spreadsheets of the damages. I want a full repair replacement as stated on my claim forms ($47,575.00) AND a full refund of this move ($21,33767).

      This was an interstate shipment moved under the authority of ****************************** regret to hear about the customers dissatisfaction regarding their move experience.
      Our company takes great pride in the services we provide our customer and address each situation as professionally and respectfully as possible.    In this case company protocol was followed by giving the customer the proper information and walking them through the process of filing a claim.  Below is a list of events that occurred during this process.

      On 15 Aug, Beltmann Group delivered some kitchen cabinets to my residence. Upon arrival while backing the truck the driver knocked over my stone mailbox and did not even tell my wife. I drove home from work, and the drive still has not called his supervisor or apologized. Even though there was another person, that person did not "spot" the vehicle while backing to avoid an accident...this one. I have made several attempts to contact the supervisor, ***************** *************). All calls and and VM go unanswered. They have blocked my number. Even the cabinet company tried to assist. Beltmann Gp lied to the cabinet company and said they contacted us, when in fact, they DID NOT!. The estimated cost to repair my stone mailbox is $580.00. Not to mention they mishandled my cabinets, damaging over 80% of them.

      Beltmann was contracted and paid in full to pack, store and deliver our goods for a move from *******, ** to **********, **. The goods arrived in Vero Beach, ** on January 15, 2022 with numerous items missing and many damaged or soiled. 2 expensive pieces of artwork were found and we have been waiting over 90 days for delivery. ******** has been unable/unwilling to set a delivery date. We've contacted them on 8 separate occasions without resolution. The insurance settlement on other items has yet to be received, though we've provided all requested documentation.The damaged and soiled items we have remedied at our own expense.The resolution I'm asking is delivery of the missing artwork within the next 2 weeks and prompt payment of the insurance payment on the goods which were lost.

      We have corresponded with customer and have made good progress in resolving both issues:

      1) Missing artwork.  The artwork is presently stored in our secure warehouse.  it was decided that since the customer was leaving their ********** residence for a few months, it would be best to keep the artwork in our warehouse until they get back to the ********** home and can accept delivery.

      2) Claim for missing items:  ********************* has agreed to a settlement with the customer.

      I contracted the services of Beltmann Relocation Group to relocate my personal property from ********* to ***** **. The ********************** was completed 11/29/2021. ********************* who was our point of contact, confirmed that I would be receiving a refund (due to less cargo than the original quote.) We (my daughter *********************) have contacted him on several occasions via email and text and was told that he would research. It has now been approximately 85 days and no refund. I would request assistance with this refund. Thank you.

      We had indicated to the customer a refund was due to them because the actual weight of their shipment was lower than the estimated weight. 

      After further review, it was determined there was a clerical error.  The actual weight was higher than the estimated weight.  We provided weight tickets and other documentation to the customer to show where the error occurred.  No refund is due. No amount is due by customer,

      We apologized to the customer and they understand.
