I had a H3231**33393531**3133H and H3133333032**36393138H Standby Generator installed at my residence in late 2022. it came with a warranty. Model 040658-00 with an ATS Model ****** and a Controller Module GC1032. I have warranty issues with alarms: #** Speed Sensor I/P Lost #** Alternator Input Lost I contacted H3231**33393531**3133H and H3133333032**36393138H by phone. I was eventually given a recorded message to contact Northwest Generators ************************************************************************************************************* Phone: ************** Email: **************************** Northwest Generators stated on the phone that they do not do warranty work on H3231**33393531**3133H and H3133333032**36393138H Standby Generators, but they would service the generator and I would have to pay for travel time, materials and labor even for a warranty issue. This appears to be a blatant fraud by H3231**33393531**3133H and H3133333032**36393138H.Please advise,*******************

On April 13, 2022 I purchased a new Toro Model #***** 22" lawn mower from ********** in *******, *****. The Briggs & Stratton engine model #***J02-0167-F1 was warranted for two years from the date of purchase. On July 15, 2023 I was mowing normally and stopped the engine by releasing the stop bar. I attempted to start the engine a few minutes later and could feel that there was no engine compression when I pulled the start rope. The mower would not start. Since the warranty was still in effect, on July 18 I took the mower to the nearest authorized Briggs & Stratton warranty repair location, which is ******* ************** They contacted me and left a message on July 28 that the there would be no warranty coverage for this engine and that I should come pick up my mower. I went to the ******* ************* on July 31 to retrieve my mower and was immediately charged $54.13 for 1/2 hour of labor. I spoke with the unidentified mechanic who returned the mower, who told me that dirt had been ingested into the engine and had caused damage resulting in there being no engine compression. He explained that a vacuum device had been hooked up to the motor and that was how it was determined that there was no compression even though it was obvious that there was no engine compression when I took the mower in to the shop. He also told me that the engine had not been disassembled and that he did not know the nature of the internal damage. I was simply told that dirt ingestion had somehow caused loss of compression. I dispute the idea of dirt ingestion. I have meticulously maintained the mower. I was also told by the mechanic that Briggs & Stratton had not approved disassembly of the engine, so no further investigation of the compression loss was done. I believe that I was wrongly charged $54.13 to be told what I already knew, as well as being told that the warranty would not be honored without any legitimate determination of the nature of the engine failure.

I purchased a DR brush cutter tow-behind mower in May 2021. The motor is a Briggs and Stratton. It has less than 15 hrs of total use and was kept in an enclosed garage when not in use. I had it serviced/oil changed this spring, brought it home and it broke 2 rods in the motor. Oil levels were checked prior to usage each time. I took it back to service shop and warranty was declined due to lack of oil. The machine has been checked and topped off if necessary each time it was used and the rods broke the day we brought it back from having the oil changed. This motor has never been low on oil and has minimal usage. It is under warranty and should be replaced. Briggs has no real customer service number or way to contact them without going through my service dealer. My service shop has all the photos, records and other documents regarding the issue and will be happy to furnish them.

Not even through one year did both batteries work. 1st battery died late Sept 2021, it simply will not charge and now the 2nd battery will not charge, this happened within the 2 years. Im not paying $170 per battery when mine should be under warranty. I want two 82V *** 2ah.

I have purchased a log splitter on 10/21/2020 with a Briggs and Stratton engine on it. In March of this year the starter assembly recoil broke. The plastic pieces broke inside it. I brought to to a local Briggs and Stratton service center in which they sent in a claim. It was stated that it was not authorized because Briggs and Stratton claims it was a wear item. The starter assembly recoil part is not a wear item. The part cost 30 dollars and labor was 35 dollars. model number 13r2320016f1 serial number *************. ticket id ***************

A Briggs & Stratton engine specialist contacted the service dealer, there was a misunderstanding in the warranty coverage and procedure.  The repair has been authorized under warranty.  The customer has been contacted and instructed to take her unit back to the dealer for warranty repair
