We purchased a home from ****** in ***********, ** and this company is the subcontractor used to install our flooring and tile. Our shower has multiple spots where the grout is cracked and the tiles on the shower wall are cracked in the middle. The cracking of the grout and tiles would suggest that there is a bond failure and insufficient thinset was used at install. We have a line of tiles on the shower floor that are crooked and have drastically varying space between them. All of the walls of the shower have multiple spots with drastic lipping. There is also significant erosion of the grout near the drain. When you was the floor you can feel the sand like particles. The erosion spots have gotten so bad that there is now water that comes up from between the tiles when pushed on. This company has been out to "assess" the shower multiple times beginning in January. They have never actually done work and have only made excuses that the erosion is soap scum. It has been almost 6 months since this issue was brought up and the problems have only become worse and more damage has been cause as the erosion continues. We have had other installers assess the damage and they have all said it was related to the install of the tile. I want this company to come out and fix the grout with properly mixed grout, and reset the tiles with the appropriate bond and fix and underlying damage that has been caused.

I purchased my home by **************** in August 2022, when I moved in I noticed the flooring. Once I moved in I noticed that the flooring was starting to separate in several rooms upstairs and down. I contacted the builder 6 times and they have Atlanta Flooring Services come back out to correct the issue. The flooring was swelling and separating in several rooms. After the very last time, I said this is ridiculous, the material and application to the cement was no adhering and there were several places in various areas where it was cookie cutter with jagged cuts in corners, door entrances, etc. It was a poor material and the installation was as done improperly. Because of my background in construction, I knew this. The point of contact with the builder, **** and his manager came out to review and we all agreed that I needed to contact the subtractor Atlanta Flooring Design for better flooring. In the meantime, several homeowners and myself were not given any real resolution to this when it was bought to their attention. Instead of taking action when the complaints came in both the builder and flooring company did nothing. Some were told that if we wanted another option, which I was opting for, that we were responsible for paying for new flooring in a new construction if we wanted different flooring. Because of lack of movement and no resolution, some homeowners began to seek legal advice which is what I am pursuing now. It's ridiculous that we have to pay for flooring when the material used and the installation was done improperly and after several attempts, no immediate accommodation was made when ALL homeowners had flooring issues across the board. At this time I have begun the process of addressing this after playing nice and waiting. Whenever I have guest, they trip on the flooring due to all the swelling and separation. It's embarrassing and this is a NEW CONSTRUCTION HOME. I contacted the ** with AFDC *****************. MUTE. Now I will let my attorney address this.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  Hopefully I can get some resolution to this and my attorney does not have to get involved.

      Sincerely,

I ordered carpeting through dropandgofloors.com, which is backed by this company on October 30th. When the order failed to arrive in a few days, as promised on the website, I began attempting to reach out and get a status. Every time I called the number on the website my call went to voicemail. I never received a call back. I initiated a dispute with my bank who issued a stop payment on the funds. After that I finally received an email from Atlanta Flooring. They advised my order was shipped to the wrong address and offered to either ****** or refund. I requested a refund. I was told by ************************* on Novemer 28th that the refund was processed and I should receive it soon. After a week I reached out again and was told it would take 10 days. After 10 days passed I reached out again and was told it would take 30 days. My bank told me a refund on a debit transaction should only take a few days. I should have received this refund more than a week ago.

I purchased a house cash from *************** who used ATL Flooring Design to install the vinyl flooring. It was not done properly. The vinyl flooring strips did not adhere to the concrete slab foundation. A quick fix was done late the night before the movers. The real estate agent, the movers and ******** were all witnesses especially ******* T-*** who made the arrangement. I was told that it was under warranty and I should not worry. The patch work from ATL Flooring Design never worked. No effort was made to replace the floor. It was like walking on biscuits...the crackling sound. Everyone who came through the door were shocked. They were afraid to walk on the floor. ***********************, ******** employee who was in charge of the warranty was in and out of this house until December of 2021. He kept saying that it did not matter what he saw or knew....that it was up to ***********************, his boss to give the authorization. *******, the quality control expert of ATL Flooring Design report was missing.... according to ********. The cat and mouse game. ***** representative was present to witness the madness of ******** employee and ATL Flooring Design employee. All delayed/downplay the warranty. Now, they are screaming out of warranty. During COVID, all claimed short of labor. I was told that the people who fixed the floor are gone...that they can't get hold of them. According to the contractors and sub contractors, I can't talk to them because I don't have a contract with them. Shame on ATL Flooring Design and Drhorton. If it was done properly, my floor would not be in this mess. Most of the homeowners are also having the same problems with their vinyl flooring.

We have forwarded this to the manufacturer again in hopes to gain a resolution to this and replace the flooring, please allow approximatly **** days for a response. The consumer should be recieving a call either from the manufacturer or our management letting them know the course of action for a replacement if manufacturer agrees with us.

      Respectfully

Bought new home from Rocklyn Homes in Horizon Sub about 2 years ago. The ceramic tile cracked in several areas in both bathrooms. Atlanta flooring did the repairs. When they pulled up the ceramic tile there were large cracks in the slab/subfloor in both bathrooms. This is causing the flooring to also crack. The grout is now cracking again... then typically the tiles crack next and Rocklyn customer care sent ***************************************** rep out. Inspection was done and they scheduled to repair the area. I took off work to wait on the workers and when the got here they said they would not do this repair bc if the entire bathroom was not pulled up and the crack repaired the same thing will happen a 4th time. The customer care rep with Rocklyn homes sent me an email today that said Atlanta flooring believes that the grout cracks are a result of me not sealing the grout. Not only have I sealed the grout initially when I moved in but I sealed it each time they pulled it up and redid it with the product they recommended! The ceramic tile in the master bathroom has also cracked and been repaired a total of 4 times and the wood flooring is separating throughout the kitchen and hallway. I am not sure if it is Atlanta Flooring or Rocklyn Homes who needs to be reported for lying and not repairing their mistakes. Thanks for your attention.
