I am extremely disappointed with Blackstock Pool as they have been dishonest and uncommitted to the pool and jacuzzi project at my home in *************, **. The pool and jacuzzi was to be finished by mid April. They said a rainy day (perhaps 2 total) had set the project back by 4 weeks (mid May). It was reported that the concrete company could return to residence in 3-4 weeks. This was a ridiculous excuse, but I was okay with it for the time.I developed a contract with the company to produce a 12X24, 6 feet deep (at deepest end) pool with jacuzzi to begin in January 2022. The ******* deposit was $5,000 but I wrote a check for $10,000 to demonstrate my commitment to getting the job done without payment delays. Each payment thereafter was on time and without issues. In mid March I began to notice no one was showing up on property to complete work. I addressed this to ***** (owner) and ******** (assistant), and disclosed my concerns at this point as $50,000 was given to their company. I was assured by ***** that the work would increase and it did; however, they continued to miss their **** on communicating with me and providing deadlines. The last 2 checks that I issued were for the completion of the project. One check was $18,000 (cashed immediately), and the other was post dated for May 22. I asked both ***** and ******** to complete discrepancies with the depth of the pool as it was less than 6 feet. I asked him also to come up with a resolution as I understood that the concrete could not be altered. There was also a fire bowl that was to be installed as it was sitting on the edge of the jacuzzi for 2 weeks. They did not address those 2 issues more than 48 hours after our initial discussion, so I informed them that I would cancel the $10,000 check pending resolution. They stopped all communication and no one has contacted me. I had to send an email on May *************************************************************************************************

Throughout this process ***** and ******** have been more concerned with obtaining draws or checks if you will instead of executing tasks to complete the project. It is my opinion that they start other projects and obtain monies from other clients to float other jobs. As a ************* ???? Veteran I remain honest and true. I have communicated with these two individuals several times, and on several occasions ******** does not answer my texts to address issues. Please do not use this company if you want transparency and efficiency. They have failed me, and to all my fellow veterans I say do not use this company as they do not respect consumers and veterans.
