      A little over 7 months ago, Southeastern roofing company came to inspect my roof due to damage from a tornado. The 2 gentlemen that came ***** and another whom I cant recall his name---were very friendly. I showed them the inside and outside damage, and they informed me that they would ensure it was fixed properly. They properly covered the area of concern, and came back the following week. We reviewed the costs, insurance estimate, etc. ******** came out to fix the roof on the outside, and informed me they would come back the following week to finish the inside, as their was damage on the ceiling inside, from the water that had gotten in due to the roof damage. I cut them a check for the entire costs, as I had their phone numbers and they had been extremely responsive and understanding with helping me through my troubles. No leaks had started after the completed the work, for about a 2 weeks. I reached back out and asked when they would be back to complete the work, and they assured me they would check the crews schedule and get back. Another week passed, nothing. It's been months and I have been blocked on cellular phones and the company has horrible reviews and complaints that were not originally there when they worked on my roof. My roof has begun leaking again, and the inside work was never even touched. I would like the work done correctly and completed or my insurance check back! One of them is in the photos uploaded

      i received a complete roof replacement installed by Southeastern Roofing on June 15,2021. Since, i have encountered several roof leaks throughout our home. i have contacted for correction with little to no improvement. With the recent storms i now have noticed two more, both in the original area. This is and will continue to cause damage to our home if not corrected right away. After trying to contact numerous times i need assistance. All we want is the problem (leaks) corrected based on the define warranty received and in hand). Thank you for your prompt attention.

      Southeastern roofing company signed a contract with us and our insurance ********************** (on 08/02/2022) to replace our roof. They have never started the project. State ************** does not release them from contract, as they are concerned of being sued by Southeastern roofing LLC). We can not contact Southeastern roofing LLC as their phone number doesn't exist, and the emails bounce back. We do not have any address (there is an address in GA not in TN where we live). We are stuck in the middle with a roof that needs to be changed.

      Southeastern Roofing (*************************) helped us file a roofing claim with our insurance company on 10/13/2022 for storm damage to our roof. We worked with Southeastern and our insurance via a Public Adjuster. Through much negotiation, the insurance company would only allow for partial repair of the roof. The total claim amount was $824.22. The amount paid out by my insurance company was $574.22.(less deductible). I was advised by the insurance company the check was issued on 11/30/22 to Southeastern Claims Adjusting and us with an address of ****************************************************************. (Southeastern Reconstruction main office)The insurance company verified the check was cashed by 'Southeastern Roofing". We have been stalled by Southeastern on this claim stating that appeals have been made on our behalf to increase the amount of the claim for the work that needed to be completed. I had been in contact with many representatives from Southeastern as their personnel changes quite often. However, the last correspondence we have received from Southeastern was an email from ******************************** on May 19th, 2023 stating she was trying to locate the check. "I have tasked the accounting department to locate the first check by amount since the insurance company are unresponsive to us reaching out to get the check number. I will provide you with an update as soon as the refund is processed and sent out to you." However, ***************' company email address can no longer be delivered. Other contact numbers for Southeastern has either been disconnected or just rings and is answered with a "good bye". Due to the previous complaints I have seen online regarding their work, I would just like to get assistance in getting a refund for $574.22, the amount paid out by our insurance company. I have attached a worksheet from the insurance company for the claim amount and the work that was to be completed.

      On 4/3/2023 Southeastern Roofing was contracted to do wind damage repairs including a new roof. The job was left unfinished even after collecting the last insurance check and several calls which have have not been returned. A person came out and looked at the problems and said he did not have the materials to finish the job and would call bet never did.

      Southeastern Roofing LLC, contracted to install a new roof on my house for about $30,000 about a year ago. On their last day while in a hurry to finish the job in darkness, they forgot to install a booth on a roof vent for my gas instant water heater. As a result, water poured into my attic and seeped into my house causing extensive damage to drywall, paint and wood floor and burnt out my instant water heater (of which the vent was left without booth) . Southeastern roofing admitted to having missed to install the booth last February but has failed to stand by then damages or to fix the roof. We arrived at a written agreement where Southeastern roofing would replace my water heater and in return I would not claim any further interior damage. They continue to ignore that agreement or come back and fix the roof.

      Paid in full for roof. Company has now changed their name and hasnt contacted me for a refund. They just disappeared and never contacted me at all.

      Hired Southeastern roofing company after they stopped at my home and told me I had storm damage, they helped me file it with my insurance company, I was approved for a roof replacement, company received a check from the insurance company on November 1, 2022 in the amount of $13,103.36.Southeastern roofing didn't start my job until December 1,2022 and has not finished the job as of today February 14,2023 due to a leaking roof after the new roof was installed wrong and not supplying the materials nor using the materials needed to replace full roof.I have received a letter that they are putting a lien against my property if I don't give them the remaining balance from insurance, my roof is not properly finished and I also have property damages due to them not covering my porches ect. I had mold start to grow they paid to have that looked at and treated amount ****** , but they refuse to listen to the the roofer and fix my roof , they were here on February 13,2023 only told by the company to patch the spots on the roof that has sunken in, I am now being told that I have to give them the remaining balance from insurance company and my roof is not fixed and my damaged property has been refused to be fixed by the guy in charge of my job.Please help for we are retired and feel like we have been scammed by this company, I live in ******* but the company is based out of *******.I have tried everyway to work with them get in contact with the owner *************************** and ***************** but they have refused any calls emails ect.Please Thank you *****************************

      We at this time were told by the sales manager ****** that he would be out to look at our improperly installed roof last week , and our property damages, I had to call him on Wednesday as I heard no word from him.

      Illater  then send a text and his response was I will get back to you for your job Intels more than he thought.

      ****** still waiting for the company to do the right thing but they just keep putting ** off as they have been since November 1, 2022 when they received the insurance check.

      Wehhave sent photos and estimate of property damages but no response as to what or when they will take care of us.

      Ihhave to call them just about every other day or text because they never answer and they refuse to let me talk with the owner or president of the company so as of today February 25, 2023 I have no answers as to what they are going to do.

      Theyhhave delaid other work that has to be done because they are refusing to properly fix our roof and even acknowledge our roof comes with a warranty when completed as to today it has not been completed nor had anyone from the company been out to look at it.

      All repairs were made to this property on 7 April 2023. The customer has sent several messages saying that they are satisfied with the repairs, and subsequently, paid their balance in full.

      1. They installed a new roof in ******. The roofing wasn't done properly & is leaking in multiple spots, in addition creating rot on the wood/siding.3. I reached out to the company to come and inspect around Thanksgiving ******. After initial hiccups, the inspection appointment was finally rescheduled and this time the new manager ************ showed up.5. I was very impressed with the way ************ talked, and explained the issues. He also acknowledged that the installation was not done properly and is sub-standard.6. At this point ************ said he will send his repair team to take a look and give an estimate for the repair.7. I then informed ************ that the roof was installed by their company in ******. Since he himself acknowledged the job was not done right, I would expect the company to do the right thing and fix the bad install and any issues that were created by the bad install.9. ************ said he would check about the warranty and stuff and get back to me.10. I followed up regularly for 6+ weeks with no proper response other than "Our office will call you back, ************ is in a meeting", each time asking me to share the entire details, address, contact#, etc. 11. After 6+ weeks, when I followed up again, I was told that it was out of warranty and their roofing team is busy so I am on my own. I explained to the lady, that the issue is not due to the quality of the roofing material, it was caused by the job not being done right and ************ agreed to the job not being done right.To this, their response was "Oh, sorry, we can't help with this."I am attaching photos that show the bad installation and how the wood strip is touching the roof and has been drinking all the rainwater from the roof, leading to rot.I also have the videos covering the damage but this complaint form doesn't accept videos.I can't believe this business claims to be A+ BBB accredited on its own website while I had to added them on BBB in order to be able to file a complaint.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I did not resolve the issue since its outside of the warranty.

      The only reason I resolved it myself by spending $700 from pocket is because your team told me that I am on my own and that you wouldn't come for repairs. I cannot sit with an active leak hoping that some day you would turn around to do the work. That is why I had to take care of it on my own.


      On 1/19 your team called me on phone and very conveniently stated that `oh it must be an error, we usually don't say like that to a customer. So your chimney leaks are repaired?'

      Now this is the 1st time I am hearing from Southeastern that even my chimney has a leak!

      If you really want to do the right thing, then please hold yourself accountable and take ownership of the bad job that was done by Southeastern to begin with.  As my repairs are done, the only thing you can do now is to reimburse me the amount I had to spend.

      Hello Team,
      As part of Complaint # 18713178, the business and I came to an accepted resolution where they agreed to reimburse me for the costs of repair.
      As requested, I had also provided the receipt/invoice for repairs via BBB and accepted the resolution.

      I had sent the invoice on 2/16/2023 but I haven't yet received the reimbursement check nor any communication from BBB or the business.

      Could you kindly reopen the complaint and help to look into this please?

      I am rejecting this response because:

      1. It seems that this time some new person from the business is responding to the complaint.

      2. It is clearly visible in this complaint history, that the business agreed to reimburse the cost of repairs and I had also provided the repair invoice and details.

      3. I would request the business to kindly resolve this matter at the earliest as this he been ongoing for nearly 5 months. It has been 3 months since they agreed to reimburse but I haven't yet received the reimbursement.

      I also urge them to kindly review the messages in this complaint to get up to speed on the matter.
