Bought a $9,000 golf cart with Shiver cart in ******** of 2022at Shiver Carts in ***********. I started having problems with the golf cart around ***** 2023. I told them and I took it back to them to see if they could fix it and they told me that they didn't have tech and I would have to take it somewhere else. I had to take it to ******* ******. ******* ****** had it for a month and they tried a couple of things and still no resolving the issue. ******* ****** told me it was a lemon and its not fixable. It been not working since April. They finally got a tech and told me to bring it to them around the end of May. It has been to them every since and its the end of June. I asked for a loaner and they had the nerve to try to charge me $200 a month for a loaner. I am still having to make payments with *** ******** for a product i don't have and have not been able to enjoy since got it. I would like my money back or a new cart. I would like this issue resolved.Business response

Enclosed you will find the pictures of the paper work issued by ******* ******( after a month with vehicle and could not repair it) Mr . **** was asked to take vehicle to our other location in ****** he did not do so. Instead he took his vehicle to ******* ****** .They damaged vehicle and left bolts and unplugged parts because they did not know how to repair this vehicle. I noticed vehicle was not charged and lithium battery was ran to zero therefore shutting system automatically
As you can see" court was shewed by their dog' so they could not charge it and vehicle was ran to zero. I personally told Mr. **** to take vehicle to our sister store he refused .

I am rejecting this response because: we were asked to take it to ****** which is an hour away from ******** because he said he didn’t have anyone to look at it and then told us that they really didn’t know when they could fix it but it would be 2/3 months before trying to look at it. I didn’t think it was my responsibility to take the goftcart to ****** when I bought it from ********. The goftcart should have been taken to ****** by Shiver in ******** and they could have taken it to ****** but Shiver seem like they didn’t want to help us. They left me no option.
We took it to ******* ****** because they are an evolution dealer and the cart is made by evolution. The dog chew cord 3 months after the fact. This has been an ongoing issue a month after getting the golf cart in *********can we please just get my money back.

Any customer can argue " action taken after the fact". Personally I did recommend to take vehicle to ****** .I did not said it will take two to three months to repair it. The issue with this matter is that the very thing that could have prevented took place( which is they compromised the vehicle and is no way for everyone to know exactly what they did during that month) .The other comparator's specialty is batteries not golf carts. also keep in mind the vehicle was returned to this shop missing bolts and unplugged ?

I am rejecting this response because: all this could have been resolved if Shiver carts would have took it the 1st instead of pushing us away. There was never an offer that Shiver carts would take it to ****** because we had to let y’all know that it was an inconvenience for us to take the cart and he clearly said that he couldn’t take it because he didn’t have a mechanic because he had to fire his crew. All we want is a refund. That’s all.

We purchased a brand new 2022 ******* powered **** ***** golf cart from Shiver golf cart business in February 2022. We were told that it will go 40 miles per charge, which it doesnt. Never have we been satisfied with its performance. It has been at dealership shop more than it has been with us. They keep saying they drain the battery to reset it or put on a seitch or something everytime we have taken it to them constantly telling them that it has NO power. We might get 14 miles per charge. We have to hold down the petal for a few minutes for it to ever get started. It constantly stalls out and takes about 10minutes for it to reset and go. Nothing is working as promised. We are so sick of the trouble we are having with this new cart. Told them we did not want it at this point. The guy named Danny told us he would just give us $7500-$8000 for this golf cart that we paid over 13,000.00 for last year!!! Then he said he would swap us for a gas golf cart. This has been going on for months! Now he says he will allow us $5000.00 for it on purchasing another cart!!!! Tired of being lied to by this so called mamager. Tried to reach out to the owner but was told he doent handle these thingsBusiness response

My name is Danny B****** .I took over the as Operations Manager March 15,2023 .I learned about Mr. ******* concerns after he had purchased the vehicle ( back in November 2022) I have accommodated his wishes twice with out any additional charges to the best of my abilities .The vehicle was working properly as of *** ** of this year. Mr ******* wants to trade his current unit back to Shiver's and get another model of golf cart (with accessories and lift) without paying anything extra .This action (simply put) can not be done unless Mr. ******* is willing to invest more for a newer vehicle .I have tried to reason with Mr. ******* and I have accommodated his request with respect and integrity .At this point there is nothing else I can do to apace Mr. ******* .

Every effort has been made from my part in regards to this account. weather the former employee did say one thing over another I can confirm or denied what was said. I started ***** ***2023.I have extended every possible avenue to accommodate them .Price points are asses by comparing one units value versus another of equal brand or lesser value. To switch from single ******* battery vehicle to a gas vehicle (with equal amount of accessories) with a different brand it is not possible because they are not the same type of vehicle.

Everything stated by Danny is untrue, He stated it works fine but he is aware that it does not and has not. we have been in constant contact with him because he stated that he was looking for something of equal value. We were told at the purchase that it got 40 miles per charge It only gets 12-14.
Yes there is a warranty with this golf cart . 8 years on the battery. He has known from the beginning that the golf cart doesnt work properly but has failed to try to make it right. We are not trying to get something for nothing . As you can see from attached paperwork that we paid cash for our purchase on the day we bought it and we added lift kit and other accessories. We have had nothing but problems with this cart. It has been in their shop being worked on more than it has been with us. We paid with our hard earned money for this hoping we could enjoy it with our grandchildren. Not the case Just alot of stress and headache
