June 14, 2024: My vehicle was towed to your shop due to an error message indicating it would shut down in 3 minutes and a battery light was on. I confirmed receipt of the vehicle with the shop that day.June 20, 2024: I visited the shop for a status update. I was informed that the issue could not be identified and was shown the vehicle, which was still being worked on. I was told by the mechanic he had not been continuously working on it and apologized to me for not having it ready for the weekend.June 25, 2024: I received a call stating that the starter was the issue. An estimate of $824 was provided, which I approved with the expectation of completion by Friday.June 30, 2024: I was informed of an additional issue involving a bolted-down 80 Controls/Fuse causing a backfire, increasing the cost to $1,352. I approved this revised estimate.July 1, 2024: I received a text requesting a call to MVP. I asked them to call me instead. A female representative then informed me that the total cost had risen to $3,623.91. When l questioned why I did not receive a call to approve this new cost, 1 was told attempts had been made to contact me, though I did not receive any such calls.July 2, 2024: Upon picking up the vehicle, the battery light was still on. I was advised by the female representative to bring the car back the following morning, but she called right back and said the mechanic suggested driving the car to see if the light would reset. Given the car's tendency to shut down, I found this suggestion unsatisfactory.Jury 23, 2024: The car was towed to another repair shop, which identified a defective alternator was the issue.Given the above circumstances, I am requesting reimbursement for the repair costs, towing, and core charges, totaling $1,075.35 and $56 for the towing fee.

They asked about the fault codes recorded and her concerns on that visit. A couple of days later we received a phone call from ********************** expressing how upset she was and requested that we contact the warranty company in her behalf and tell them that the information from our repair order was incorrect. **************** was denying her claim due to preexisting conditions.

On or about 9/14/21 I purchased a 2018 ******** AMG GTC vehicle that was listed on line, and had it delivered to my home in **********. Prior to purchase the owner **** did a video walkthrough of the car, and did confirm the CarFax information showing repair of a mild accident (unknown who did the repair), with some minimal surface damage, but stated that otherwise the vehicle was in perfect condition. Shortly after I received the vehicle however I began to notice several issues with the electrical system, such as with the mirrors, audio system, and rear view camera. I brought the vehicle to my local dealer, and after significant effort they eventually diagnosed that someone had cut several wires. This was not due to an accident - it was deep inside the car, and could only have been done by someone with a body shop. Repairs were almost $10,000 When I contacted the owner, he denied any knowledge of these issues, even though they would have been hard to miss if he had done an adequate inspection. He referred me to his attorney, who wrote one letter disavowing any responsibility, claiming that the damage came from my end. Both the owner and attorney W. ********************* in ******* have failed to my several e-mail responses requesting either payment or at least information for MVP's insurance company so that I could submit a claim. I seek only restitution of the expenses incurred on a pre-existing condition that was not disclosed at the time of purchase.

On May 3, 2021, I drove my car to your shop for servicing because the check engine light indicated a drivetrain malfunction. I was initially told that the vanos solenoids were bad and needed to be replaced. After the vanos solenoids were replaced, I received a call saying my turbo chargers and catalytic converters needed to be replaced. I purchased two turbochargers and two catalytic converters. I was told that the catalytic converters did not fit, so I ordered more. Again, I was told they did not fit. So, I instructed the technician to put the old parts back on so I could take the car to a catalytic converter specialist. When I arrived to picked my car up, I was given a **** of $2,584.48, my car was disassembled and my turbo charger and catalytic converter where located on the inside of my car. The shop refused to put the old parts back on my car, so I had to tow it to a shop to get reassembled. I drove my car to the shop to get repaired, paid over $2000 for repairs but had to tow it to another shop to get repaired. As a direct result of my car not getting reassembled, I towed my car to Laredos Muffler Shop. Laredo indicated that there were too many missing parts and would not be able to put the car back together; however, the catalytic converters did not need to be replaced but they did need to be cleaned, so they cleaned them. I returned the catalytic converters to the manufacturer. Since the car was still undrivable I towed the car to Vers Import Auto Repair and paid $650 to reassemble my car into its original condition and replace the turbo chargers that were originally purchased. Also, the original concern was never addressed. So, Vers Import Auto conducted their own diagnostic after the car was reassembled. It was determined that rear crank case ventilation valve under the intake assembly needed replacement. This repair cost $592.00. Now my car is running and the check engine light is no longer on.

On 4/20/21 ****************** brought his 2010*** 550GT, not 5/3/21 to MVP German Auto Specialist. This vehicle was in very poor condition. Your concern was check engine light and drivetrain malfunction message display. Technician scanned DME unit and detected a stored fault code ******. Vanos exhaust to cold start not controllable. Technician performed pinpoint test and diagnosed internal failure to Bank 1 and Bank 2 Vanos solenoids. Bank 1 and Bank 2 PCV hose and Bank 1 intake boot to start vehicle. Also, vehicle had excessively low fuel. During the repair process, technician detected change over valves and springs were previously dislodged from Turbo charger. Waste gates due to internal failure to the Turbo charger, which are leaking oil. Technician removed and replaced all 4 Camshaft adjusters, solenoids, all 4 crankcase vent hoses, both intake ducts cleaned off oil and contaminated components. Cleared fault codes. At that time, Technician detected both Turbochargers are coming apart and both Catalytic Converters are excessively clogged.

This is when the problems started. The customer was then informed of the pricing of the Turbo Chargers and Cats. The customer wanted to go through a cheap and inexpensive route of supplying us with aftermarket parts. As we all know aftermarket parts are not a perfect fit, especially on high end European vehicles, such as his **** They do not fit, nor do they last. We advised the customer that we would install his parts if they were OEM *** parts. Time after time customer brought aftermarket parts. Once installation, brackets did not line up and piping was not positioned correctly. After, 3-4 attempts, waisted time, labor, and aggravation, that his parts would not fit. Customer decided he wanted to pick up his vehicle as is. Instructed us to just put his parts in a box in the trunk.

The car was finally picked up on 6/18/21. That's 2 months taking space on the lift, waiting for trying his afternmarket parts. Customer picked up vehicle and brought to a muffler shop to be reassembled. We all know that a muffler shop does not have the expertise to work as a skill full trained technicians to assemble the car. So, they declined the work. I do not understand how a converter can be cleaned, as the customer states and not replaced. The parts that we suggested to replaced fixed his vehicle as requested. If the customer would have just used OEM parts, and let us complete the work, none of these problems would have occurred.

This is what happens when you take the cheap way out.

MVP German Auto Specialist has been in business for over 22 years and all of our technicians are Master trained Techs.
