My son was inappropriately ejected from a ********* Driving Class by a substitute teacher along with another boy for talking one minute after class started. Other boys were forced to clean the facility for talking. The teacher did not follow policy, did not teach from the required GA DOT book and allowed kids to cheat in groups on the state driving test. She also gave them all a free 100 on the ******'s law required ************** test. I paid $535 for this class. My son took 15 of the 30 hours before being kicked out. They are refusing to let him finish or give me a refund.(1) Behavior Policy: The policy in the contract we signed was not followed. I did not receive any phone call noting that my son was in danger of being kicked out of the class. Policy reads: Classroom decorum is expected of all participants. This includes proper behavior, respect for the teacher, other students, classroom equipment, and other property. Students not able to maintain acceptable standards will first receive a verbal warning, followed by a telephone call to parents. Continued unacceptable behavior can result in a student being terminated from the program with no refund of tuition. Fortunately, disruptive situations have been extremely rare and this policy is explained to advise parents and students in advance. She covered inappropriate topics that are not covered by the state of Georgia. She allowed the kids in the class to complete the ***** TEST in groups and using their phones. She gave a free 100 on the ******'s Law ************** test required to get a license.
