Tax Preparer filed incorrect information than what was given by customer. Preparer is not assuming responsibility for error made when asked for return of concession fee. Owner of Boss Tax Angels has been highly unprofessional and deliberately blaming fault towards all other parties including IRS.Business response

Due to systematic error of bank and tax preparation system and Covid. Mailing. Return was the only way to file this individuals taxes due to owing and bank shut down. Tax payer did not send documents needed till October for services. They owed due to not paying taxes for 2021 as well as due to them already getting the stimulus check. Tax preparer has notified them of situation as well as the *** to get the situation resolved. I was told to the tax preparer that an abatement and amendment will be resolved to fix any fees that accrued via ***. Due to services being rendered I dont owe them a refund. They will still have to pay what they owed to ***. It was told to the client the issue can be resolved with a simple fix and they refused. Situation was explain to *** and clients. If amendment isnt done I am not able to be of assistance in fixing the errors that were caught by the ***. The tax preparer completed the amendment that was needed for 2021 correction and offered to send via mail. They declined. No refund will be done due to services already being discounted and error being corrected.Customer response
