    I purchased almost 6k worth of furniture in cash from Asher’s in November, we were told the stuff would be delivered within 12 weeks which is aprox late February to very early March. Called march told delayed until late March mid abril . Called mid April told delayed until mid June. I spoke to manager and advised this would put it at 7 months and we are unwilling to wait that long. We want our things delivered or receive our refund. He stated he could not give us a refund as sales are final and we would get things delivered by a nearby store .The store is permanently closing next month and we need a resolution. At this point I am passed to the point of as i do not trust I will get my things. They will close and just keep giving BS excuses. If the store is unable to fulfill and order for whatever reason they should give the people their money yet here we are out 6k and unable to enjoy furniture we paid in full almost 5 months ago. I will file a lawsuit, get my bank involved for fraudelant charges for goods that were never delivered . The place already had a horrible reputation where the same thing has happened to other military families. During our move to Valdosta our table was lost by the movers so we are eating on the couch, good thing we didn’t throw our old couches or we would be eating on the floor. Maybe this tire doesn’t care because they are closing but all the nearby stores will lose business because of the reputation they are building of taking forever to deliver the furniture and refusal to give money back. I still do not know how refusal to give a refund is legal. I could understand if I was backing out but I am out my money and no furniture and can’t go buy somewhere else because this company who is affiliated with Ashley’s furniture is robbing me of my hard earned money . I need a resolution Asher’s and Ashley’s or I will be filing a lawsuit for theft.

    I PCSd to ******** after a year overseas. Im new to the area, and I was looking for a king size bedroom suit that I was able to take home the same day. Ashers seemed like a good deal for what I needed at the time. On a Saturday I walked in to Ashers, and I ended up buying a full bedroom suit and mattress. They had the majority of the furniture in stock, but told me one night stand and the king size frame and head board had to be delivered from their warehouse. The lady who was working with me told me it would be in Friday of the next week, so I paid in full thinking maybe this is a legitimate business and I would get what I paid for. I showed up the next Friday like I was told to pick up the rest of my furniture. When I got there I gave my receipt to the guys in the back. They walked around for about 20 minutes, and then came back to tell me it wouldnt be in till the middle of the next month. Here it is the middle of the next month, and Ive been calling for two days straight with no answer at the store to even see if the furniture came in yet. I dont want to waste my time to go to the store not knowing if the furniture is even in. Someone needs to pick up the phone!! I dont care if its in yet or not, but I want to get an answer! Ive been looking at reviews about this business, and have not ran across anything higher than 1 star. I would return the furniture if I could, but I urge anyone who thinks about shopping here not to.
