I first noticed that there was an issue when my baseboard started to separate from the wall behind my toilet. Initially I thought maybe it was just a result of the house settling, until March 30, 2022 I was walking around my house and looked up and noticed the vent pipe on that side of the house did not have the rubber piece as all the other pipes on the house. I googled and determined it was a called a boot. I called Americas Home Place on March 31, 2022 and reported the issue. They stated they didn't believe that was the problem but they would send someone to look at it. Someone came out on April 1st and placed a boot around the pipe. At that time pictures were taken of the roof. I reached out to AHP on April 8th to see what would be done about the roof and the damage to the inside of the home. I heard from them on April 11th stating they would come out and look at the damage. I never heard anything from them so I reached out again on April 26th. AHP came out on May 6th and look at the bathroom, conjoining closet and the roof inside the attic. They stated they would send someone of fix that damage and a roofer to assess the roof. On May 23rd someone came and fixed the inside walls. I never heard anything after that so again I reached out on July 8th. I was told they were working with a roofer to get an inspection and estimate to fix the roof. When the roofer came out my ring door bell camera recorded him saying the roof needed to be replaced. AHP sent someone out on August 15th to do something to the roof. They called my husband saying they were closing the roof warranty on Sept 15th. I called them back and told them I wanted the roof to be inspected. I called a roofer who came out on Sept 19th and inspected the roof. He took pictures at that time and the pictures looked the same as before with the exception of my dormer windows. The roofer stated they messed the flashing around the dormers up. I sent the report to AHP and they stated they would get back with me.
