The pool was built in 2021 and I now in 2023 I have discovered the pool permits were not done as promised. After waiting on this issues to get looked into as promised I have waited months with no reply. So now I have a expensive one ground pool that is not permitted which coupled with damage to the houses from the construction when they crashed into the house and was not repaired is getting ridiculous. I have spoken with them several times and asked them to look into resolving the permit issues and what needs to happen but they have not gotten back to me after months of asking.Business response

Mid State Pools & Spas has the worst service! Around ******* ***** we paid Mid State Pools & Spas over $50,000 to install a liner pool. Right from the beginning, we had problems with them. 1) While removing my 4-foot tall wood fence, they broke several of the posts and had to replace them. 2) The crew digging the pool, ran into a 5' tall oak sapling we had planted, tearing off a couple branches. 3) They ran over a cinder block/burn barrel fire pit I had in the backyard, breaking some of them cinder blocks and bending the burn barrel beyond repair. 4) Although our backyard is about 1/2 an acre, they drove through both of my neighbor's back yards, prompting one of them to call the Sheriff and file a police report on me. 5) Once the pool was installed, we could feel rocks in the bottom. Not just small pebbles, but sharp-edged rocks. 6) In the deep end bottom, there was a roughly 6" diameter, 4" deep divot that was easily visible from the surface. 7) All along the deep end where the cement wall (behind the liner) meets the ground there are large chunks of concrete that must have oozed out under the metal form when pouring the concrete. Before the liner was installed, those large chunks of concrete weren't removed or ground down, so when the liner was installed, those chunks of concrete stuck out and we can feel them. 8) The decking has sharp edges of concrete on the edges. When our pool floats come in contact with those spots, they pop. I ran out of replacement vinyl patches, and had to resort to repairing my floats with duct tape! 9) The overflow drain pipe was installed at an angle that wouldn't allow the water to drain out of the pool properly. I had to dig under the pipe slightly, then heat and bend it at the proper angle. 10) The ladder wasn't leveled when it was installed, so one side is about 1/2" higher. It's very visible when compared to the water-line. I have other problems with the pool, but not enough characters left to write them all here.Business response
