Went to this company to purchase a boat shed. Company sub contracted ****** ********* Company did not pull a building permit which is required for the city of ****** ******* Company also built structure to close to the road, we know have to request a 14 foot variance with the city because it is not up to code according to location .Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2021/11/17) */ Ms.****************** filled this report against Absolute Storage Solutions. We sold her an ***** *******. We are not responsible for any thing else. She needs to contact *****. Writing a bad review against us is not right. ****************** Consumer Response /* (3000, 13, 2021/11/17) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Absolute Solutions handled and sold be this structure. I paid Absolute Solutions you all are responsible for anyone you sub contract to come into our yard and build the shed; since we paid you all and not *****s. We just want the proper permits pulled for this particular structure and for everyone to be aware that permits are required to be pulled for these sheds, which you all neglect to tell your customers. This matter should be handled between you and *****s since they initially work and build structures for your customers. This is a matter everyone needs to be aware of before purchasing a shed from you all, and the fact that no responsibility as been taken on you all end, is terrible. I don't understand how you can think it is my responsibility to buy permits for you. If you had any doubts you should of checked with the city before you let ***** put the structure up. You have taken our money and don't want to make things right. It's not my responsibility to pull permits I am not a licensed contractor; but I hired one to do the job and the job was not done properly. I will never recommend anyone to your establishment. This is really poor customer service. You are putting the blame on others and we really don't care about whose fault it is we want the proper documents pulled with the city. I went back thru every ***** contract and we did not sell her anything.We kept the name from previous owners because they were retiring. She must of bought from them. But I also pulled up an ***** contract.Under Purchaser Agreement, it says that Customer is responsible for pulling permits!!!!!Evidently she did not read the contract agreements! The name of the owner is *****************. And the permit is not to be pulled by us and further more the shed was placed to close to the road according to county laws. What do you have to say about that? We are not slandering anyone you all built a shed didn't pull proper permits and built it to 14 feet to close to the road. So if I go pull my own permits like you say I should, who is going to explain why this was improperly built. People need to know when they purchase these sheds you all are not following proper city guidelines and you all are not informing your customers about permits. Regardless of if I pull a permit or you guys the structure should not have been built without one. The crew should have asked to see a permit before it was built. You guys are contradicting yourself so much, this entire situation is ridiculous especially when you spend thousands of dollars on something. It's very obvious that you all are not trying to resolve this properly. It's really sad. You all need to do a better job explaining this to the customers and you wouldn't have to deal with complaints it was never told to us about pulling a permit. And even if we pulled the contractor would still have to go and sign off on it. Business Response /* (4000, 23, 2021/11/23) */ As I stated before, on the sales order under Purchaser Agreement it states clearly "Customer is responsible for obtaining building permits as needed for installation." You signed and dated this. If you had of read this, you would have of known you were responsible for permits.
