They scammed me on my taxes. I got a letter in the mail stating that I owe $910.88 and they charged me $700 cash and $1000 that was not accounted for and I’m still owe taxes and they done something they ******* ** *****Initial Complaint

I filed my taxes on ******** *** ****, and received them on ******** *** ***** I notice I was charged $1681. I reached out the manager, and he told me not to worry. He forgot to adjust my fees. He told me he adjusted the fees in the computer, and the corporate office in ******** would be mailing me a check to my address. It's now ***** *** ****, and I have not received a check or even a phone call about this matter. I reached out the office in ************* and I was told that the information would be forwarded to the supervisor. I also have called and went by the ****** ****** office for the last 3 weeks, and the office is closed. You can't even leave a voicemail. It's very unfair that I was over charged being that, I'm a regular customer.Initial Complaint

Good Afternoon, To whom this may concern, I, ****** *********, was a previous client with this facility * **** ****** **** *** ** ****** ******* ** ****** in 2021 and I have been trying to reach out to the facility since I checked the IRS2Go app about a month ago in regards to my 2021 tax return. I was supposed to get my tax return in check form. It states online that it was processed , approved and got sent to your office ***** *** 2023, and if I haven’t received it , it should be there no later than ***** **** 2023. Currently we are in April and I haven’t received any updates, phone call, or emails. I’ve emailed the company twice , I’ve been calling my phone goes straight to voice mail , I ride by the building it’s always closed. I reached out to a person who’s close with the manager of the company and they stated he said he’d give me a call no one has called me. Previously, I had been calling daily during business hours and when I did speak to an employee around early March It was either we don’t have it here for you or the person at the office who answers the phone does not have much information to provider since “they don’t have a manager on staff at the moment.” (Which are his exact words) He’s informed me that only a manager can check and see if it had been sent and give me all the necessary updates. However, I have been trying to get in contact with someone higher up for a while and have not gotten any information. I originally went to this company to start filing my taxes the first week of January of this year (2023) to inquire about a refund advance. Was given a refund advance & told that my taxes would be filed as soon as the IRS starts accepting returns (within a couple weeks of my initial visit) & to check back towards the end of the month. I have been trying to contact this business for the past 3 business days (Sat the ***** ****** *** **** * ****** *** ****** no one is answering the phone (going straight to voicemail which is full so can’t even leave a message) & no one was at the location when I stopped by Saturday or Monday. I have even reached out to another branch which answered immediately & was very helpful who tried to contact the location while I was holding & wasn’t able to contact them either. This is extremely unprofessional, especially considering that this is a tax service company that is not open to help their customers during the posted hours of operations during peak tax season.
