I got the car Nov 6,2023 it was sold to me off the lot with no dealership sticker in windows, the claimed it just came off auction lot. There was a check engine light on they said it was the brakes and rotors. They fixed it. From there it was in and out of service for 3 months straight for different issues. (Should have been fully top tiered serviced before being sold) I asked for something else they said they would find me something for weeks, when I just asked for my truck back it was off the lot in no time. I have been dodged about everything beating around the bush being told one thing after another. This time it was major my spark plugs and coil pack warranty only covered 1 spark plug and coil pack I paid 493 out of pocket. They said everything was fixed and good to go a few days later my car was going the same thing. They said it was the motor. I feel like they knew it was the motor the whole time and wanted me to go over my mileage for my warranty. I asked them to put me in something different or buy the car back because 7 months in is not what is supposed to be coming off a legit dealership lot. More like buy here pay here. They’ve been beating around the bush about a rental that is covered under my warranty telling me no more than. 4 days I finally called my warranty place my self and got the truth and everything was accepted earlier they waited till late night to tell me and claimed they had no clue. They told me it was the whole motor needing to be replaced yet they requested a short block. And not a long block. I should have not had this many issues 7 months of having vehicle I have a recording and the seller apologizing he didn’t know it was that bad and sorry for saying he’d get me in something different and couldn’t. It’s uncalled for coming from a legit dealership and how much trust I had being a first time buyer. I should have to keep paying for something that’s nothing but issues. It’s not right. I have paperwork for days. I just want it right.

Vehicle was sold without an owners manual, and a part that was promised and paid for was never delivered. It has been three weeks since we bought the 20** Ford and ******** was sold without an owners manual and a part that was promised and paid for was never delivered. It has been three weeks since we bought the 20** Ford and I have spoke with four different people with no resolution. I need the owners manual to my truck to tell me type of oil, tire pressure, etc. etc. they will not supply it after several phone calls.

      01/16/2024

On 1/11/2024 We received a few booklets for a 20** Ford ****.  Ours is a 20** and they know this as we just bought it.  Still no owner's manual for the truck and I believe they did this to try to appease the BBB that they tried to resolve the problem.

They have NOT resolved and I want this notated to our original complaint. I have contacted the actual owner of Paul Thigpen Ford.  Explained the situation and still no satisfaction.  I told him that I filed with the BBB and the FTC.

I also took pictures of the booklets they sent instead of the Owner's Manual.

      Thank you.
