Our regular garbage pick up day is Monday however the service was not provided this week and has been delayed the past two months. I've contacted customer service and they didn't know of any delays. I then sent an email and was told a call notification had been sent to the customers informing them of the delay and the route would not be completed today. Please give them until the end of the week to recover the trash. Today is Friday which is the end of the week and that call was sent out on Monday and no other notifications have been sent since then. This has been an on going issue with this company in our neighborhood and the cost of the service keeps increasing. They offer additional cans but it's double the cost for the service.Initial Complaint

The company is suppose to pick up trash every week. In the month of January only had trash picked up twice . This is every month.Business response

After reviewing Ms. ********s account, out records show she has only reported one incident this year for a missed pick-up. We have had an issue the the driver covering her route and have since replaced that driver. Ms. ******* should begin seeing consistent service going forward. A $6.51 credit has also been applied to Ms. ********s account for the one week of documented missed service from ***********

********** at 2:25pm, called and spoke with granddaughter ***** to inform her our records show no reports of missed trash pick-ups until her BBB report. Advised going forward to let us know right away of such issues so we can take immediate action. Also issued a $19.53 credit to ****** ********* account for the 3 weeks claiming no service. ***** was very pleasant to speak with and has my direct line to contact me for any issues that may arise.

Since ****, we have had nothing but issues with Amwaste, they will go 2-5 weeks without trash pick up and when you call the office, they’re customer service agents are extremely rude, however they always say that they’ll make a report and the issue should be handled within 24 hours, or “they will pick up by Saturday of the week”. This situation has occurred more times than I can even count and currently we are going on week 3 with no pick up. I have called 3x this week in which the agent said every time “give them 24 hours”. It’s been two weeks since the first “24 hour notice”. There is trash cans knocked over throughout the community and trash on the sides of the road. This could cause health issues and obviously environmental and nature issues, as we live in a farming area. I have also emailed corporate with no response and that was 3 days ago as of now. They refused to deduct anything off of the bill. We have to call many times every month to report non pick up, and this is happening all over ******** county.Business response

Trash service is mandatory in ******** ******* *******. Ms. ******* received authorization from the county to close her residential account to use a commercial dumpster to better service her ****. Her residential account was closed out ***********
Unfortunately, there were interruptions of service from mid-December 2022 through January 2023 due to lack of manpower or mechanical issues. Adjustments were made to Ms. *******'s account during the time of interrupted service. She also has a left over balance $12.74 refund that is being mailed in the form of a check. Ms. ******* should receive the check within 3-4 weeks. There are no further actions required on this closed account.

Company does not pick up our garbage on time and some weeks they don't pick it up at all. The whole community is having the same issue. When ever you call the company the answers is always "we will pick it up today" or "we will pick it up within 24 - 48 hours.Business response

They came to remove my dumpster after the quarterly bill had already been paid. This was an issue on their end. On my 5th call to speak with a supervisor, 3 weeks into this situation I was finally connected with the supervisor Tracy(there is only 1 supervisor for the entire company). Prior to this I was waiting on a call from her for 2 weeks. When I did finally get her on the phone, she lacked empathy and knowledge about what was going on and could not tell me how or when this was going to be resolved. All she could say is that she was going to look into it and call me back. I have been 3 weeks without my dumpster or trash pick up service and there is still no resolution. Not to mention they have doubled their prices in the last month. This has been THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE THAT I HAVE EVER HAD! BUYER BEWARE.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2022/07/27) */ The issue was with a system change effective *********. Customers who had autopay established were asked to move to the other system, multiple communication tools were included and were repeated. Many of our customers did not recognize or acknowledge the attempts thinking them junk mail, junk email, etc. Automated phone attempts were rejected because it was not a familiar number. That all being said, we have many customers fall behind on their payments. After reading the notes on the account and checking with operations regarding the team, I believe the issue has been corrected. Credits have been issued, the account balance is zero, service is active and a cart was re-delivered on ******* If that is not the case please advise. The customer is located in ****************
