This company is a big Polluter who poison the neighborhood. They are not a local company. Hawaiian linen supply was bought out by a hedge fund in ***********. It is run out of *********. It is not a local company and they do not care about the local people or their workers who are completely exploited by working in a toxic environment. This company burned thousands of gallons of Diesel every day to boil water. That exhaust goes out into the community and poison. All of us who are downwind, including an elementary school across the street. Furthermore, they do not insulate the building for noise because they are too cheap to provide air conditioning for their workers and to keep the machines cool. So, the building is essentially an open air industrial zone in a residential neighborhood. The neighborhood was here before the Linen company. The Linen company needs to either upgrade their facility or they need to move to an industrial area. The zoning needs to change, but they grandfathered in because the current administration always goes on the side of corporate America as the mayor said to me this is America were open for business. The department of health cant do anything because burning diesel is still legal. There is not much we can do as citizens, unfortunately. So we live in a cloud of poison. The air quality scientist from the ***************** of ****** said he would not live in this neighborhood. Its so poison. This is not a local company. This is owned by billionaire hedge fund, rich people in ***********, who do not care about us and will treat us and their workers as sacrifice zones for their own personal profit. Its the worst kind of business that we need in ******. This place needs to go out of business immediately. ******
