Sent complaint form to General Contractor on 1/16/24 Dear ****************,On April 26, 2023, TradeMark Construction emailed a contract for me and my wife to review. We reviewed the contract and emailed you back on May 12, 2023 with our requested corrections. You verbally told me all is okay and then started the project the week of May 14, 2023, with an estimated completion date of August 13, 2023 (i.e., 3 months).Unfortunately, your service has not been satisfactory because you have not completed our project. I am disappointed because it is 8 months since you started the project and you have not held to a return date to complete the project despite my repeated follow-up emails, texts, phone calls to you and payments totaling over $128,000 for the work to be done (exceeding the cost in the contract of $119, ******). Additionally, for the change order in reference to the additional plumber (***** ********************* with *******************) and electricians (********** with X company)* work, I requested itemizations of their proposed charges be emailed to me from them copying you. To resolve the problem, I would appreciate your cooperation by responding within 48 hours from today (January 16, ****) via email, letting me know that I am on the schedule (date and time) to complete our project by the end of this month (January 31, ****). Enclosed are copies of my records of payments, edited contract on May 12, 2023. I have also copied contents of the list from an email I sent to you on January 11, **** including tasks that need completing.I look forward to your written reply and resolution to my problem. Please complete the work within 14 days of the receipt of this letter or by January 31, ****. If I do not hear from you I will seek assistance from **** and the Better Business Bureau. Complaint letter ends.Of note: We've been attempting to resolve/have project completed 10/3/23. It is now 8 months later and nothing in the house has been completed. In Feb 12, it will be 9 months.
