I hired Olive Branch Hawaii LLC to cater a corporate event that took place in mid January for 150 people. The day before the event Misha cancelled on me. I had pre-paid for the food (in November 2022, invoice number ******) per her request. Since then I have been trying to get my money back ($1,821.99) without any luck. Instead I get one excuse after the other. I have seen attempts to credit back my AMEX card, but they never go through because of insufficient funds. I think this business is in serious financial trouble and unable to pay bills. I don't want other corporations to get taken advantage of like mine did.Customer response

Aloha BBB,
I have been in contact with this customer and explained the situation on our end. And yet she continued to bully and bash publicly. Tried to work out a payment plan with her and she denied. I am trying to work on the refund in full. I am a very small business in Hawaii. Also assisting relief to loved ones in Maui. But it will be resolved and refund will be sent soon.

I am rejecting this response because:I have given the business multiple opportunities to refund the money. And each time I was given a new excuse as to why they couldn't provide a refund. I don't trust that this business will ever provide a refund and don't want to continue to deal with excuses, it has been eight months. I did post a review online because I don't want other businesses to fall victim. I do not consider the action of the post bullying and I am sorry the vendor feels this way. If the company wants to make a full refund by the end of the month I would consider the issue resolved and consider the case resolved.

Thank you for the assist BBB. I will need until 9/8 to make the full refund. I see the request from ******** is by the end of this month. I received this message today, 8/29/23. I wont be able to make it by the 31st. 9/5 will be the soonest as I will be receiving income from orders throughout this following week to help pay the refund.
can we please agree to this as a settlement between us and resolution. Kindly, Olive Branch Hawaii.
