I first went to this business in November of 2023 to get a safety done on my bike. While I was waiting for my bike to be done his dog, which isnt on a leash and hangs around the sidewalk in peoples way, walked behind me and bit me on the leg. I then had to proceed to go and get a tetanus shot from the local clinic. I asked him why he doesnt have a chain on the dog or even a cage and he said the animal has always been there. Aside from the dog bite, I have returned recently in March of 2024 to get a safety check on my mothers moped. The way he does his safety checks is he gives me a failed safety to which then I pay 20$, and then I have to go get my registration on my own time at the local dmv. After doing so I am supposed to bring the new registration to him so he can give me an updated safety sticker for the bike. However, I have called for the past 4 weeks and every time I call there is a man that picks up and says they are not doing safety checks because the boss is out of town. He tells me a day when the boss will return and when I call on that day he says the boss will be back at a further date. Keeping me waiting for over a month now just to complete my safety. I have no idea what kind of business he runs but I would like to file a complaint on his company and receive compensation back for the money Ive spent. There was no record of a receipt or anything but he knows who I am and remembers me.Business response

In response to ID ******** , ***********************. A refund check was issued in the amount of $20.00 for his safety check and was mailed to him on April 30, 2024. An enclosed copy of the check, that was sent to **************, is for your records. Unfortunately, I was able to perform my duties in a timely manner for ************** as I was taking care of my mother who is ************************************************************************************************************** Moped Doctors as I will be unable to fulfill his needs.
