On March 18, 2024, Better Business Bureau reached out to Waterman Tree Service LLC requesting substantiation for the following:
1) Current and active certification as an arborist
2) Current and active licensing as a tree removal service with Hawaii Professional and Vocational Licensing
3) Che removal of previous reviews from the owner's former business in Idaho now that he resides in Hawaii
The owner responded to BBB that he was "no longer offering tree removal services," and so wouldn't be obtaining the proper licensing to do so in Hawaii. BBB requested that owner remove any reference to offering tree removal services to be following the BBB's Truth in Advertising standards.
As of April 29, 2024, Waterman Tree Service LLC has not responded to the above requests and has not obtained proper licensing with HI PVL for offering tree removal services.
