On Sunday September 24th, we traveled to the car rental agency via a taxi and arrived at approximately ****. The office was closed so I called the number and nobody answered. A minute or so later a man called back and after I told him who we were and supplied him with the reservation/confirmation number, he said he would figure it out and call us back. Meanwhile, we stand outside a closed building with 3 large suitcases. He calls back and says there was a mix-up and they did not have the car ready and it would take anywhere from 30 minutes and on to drive one to us. I asked my husband and we agreed we would take our business elsewhere so I told the man that and he apologized, stating we would receive a full refund. We then called for an Uber and made our way to the hotel. On Tuesday, I wrote an email asking about a refund and didn't get a response. On Wednesday, I wrote another email. I also text a number and received a response saying he'd look into the matter and get back to us ASAP. By the end of the day after not receiving any response, I took to their review page and immediately got a response. The man completely gaslighted me and also lied about everything that happened. He states that we will not get a refund and blames the interaction on us saying that we did not have a reservation and that we were not even there. I will be attaching phone records, emails, receipts, and everything else I can to prove that we are 100% *********** a FULL refund. It was not at all about a 10 minute taxi drive. I knew when I booked with them that we would be taking transportation. It is one hundred percent about not receiving the service we paid for. We signed a rental agreement and they were the ones that did not hold up the agreement.Customer response

The company refunded me the full amount.
