I ordered a Haku from The Happy Haku on 9/19/23. I prepaid $200 at that time. The agreement was that she would deliver the Haku to my Resort on 9/27/23, the cost for delivery was covered with the $200. According to her site I was to make contact 3 days in advance to confirm, which I did. The day of my event I hadnt heard from her so I reached out via text and phone call, no response. I had requested a morning delivery or at least by 3 because I needed it by 4 for family vacation photos before our luau. I didnt hear from her until approximately 4:30, she stated she wouldnt be able to get it to me until 8 pm or the next morning (I was already at my event by this time). She gave me an option for a refund which I said I would prefer the refund (this was via text). This was on Wednesday evening. I reached out Friday 9/30, she claimed the money was issued, I reached out to my bank 10/4, they showed that there was nothing pending. I reached out again to her on 10/5 requesting an email confirmation of my refund, she said shed get it to me, I have yet to receive anything. I just want my money back and for other customers to be aware of this scam. The business is advertised on ******** and Instagram. I wish I had read the Yelp reviews before my purchase because apparently I am not the only person she has done this to. My event was a luau with my family on a once in a lifetime trip, this day was really important to me as I was with my family and my parents and was really looking forward to wearing the Haku for photos and for our luau. Other customers on yelp had their wedding and graduation days ruined by this business. Its really sad and frustrating that this appears to happen a lot with this business.Business response

Client was informed delivery would be delayed due to medical emergency , client was offered a later delivery or refund they decided to go with refund . Client was issued refund.
Ive tried uploading refund receipt but it will not upload through the designated porthole .please advise

On the date of 2/22/2022 I ordered a haku on The Happy Haku website. I was charged $70.00. But I when I looked on the happy haku instagram it said she was closed for orders yet I was still charged the $70.00. I reached out multiple times via email and instagram direct message and was told I was going to get a refund but still have not received it.Business response
