              Im financing a used 2018 Dodge Journey. My monthly payments are $565, I have already paid over $11,000 and owe $18,100 still. I know this has nothing to do with Dodge directly. I got it 09/2022 and since then I have had to pay close to $4000 in repairs not including maintenance. The heater hoses melted for no apparent reason, the rear camber had to be replaced, and now the code reader says the catalytic converter needs repair and or replaced. I dont know what to do since these pricey repairs have made it harder to keep up with the car payments, I can not afford a catalytic converter. I cant trade it in because KBB value won't even cover half of whats still owed. I choose Dodge because its American Made, I didn't realize what I was getting in to. The mechanic who replaced the heater hoses said " honestly its a horrible design ". It was also ignorant of me not realizing the size of the engine vs. size of the vehicle. I don't know what to do, especially when it comes time for a smog check to get registration renewal. At one point it sat in the carport for 2 months with no sign of life. Unfortunately the manufacturer warranty ended prior to me receiving it and the service contract that the dealership sold me was a scam. FYI bought at ***** Hyundai of ***********

              They took my down payment. Scheduled a time to pick up vehicle. Vehicle not available but 4 people told me that its on the way and since we made a deposit we had first right to the car. The very next day they sold it to someone else
