      Windward has had our vehicle for 111 days, and has done absolutely NOTHING but dodge our calls, emails, change their stories (and repair cost amounts) multiple times. 111 days and they have not even BEGUN work on our vehicle. It took them from Nov 22-Jan 30th just to get us PRICING on our repairs. (They claim it took them that long to hear back from Big Hyundai on things). We asked for 3 weeks for them to produce the diagnostic paperwork as to why our vehicle needed a new engine after initially they said it "passed the test and the engine was fine.They refused to call us back or produce the diagnostic paperwork for a month straight. We have had to physically drive 30 minutes to the service center TWICE just to get any kind of answer from them.Once we received the paperwork, it didn't even match what they initially told us.You can find the "service advisors" on their personal phones, and chatting with coworkers any time you go, but don't expect a call back about your vehicle.Six weeks ago we told them to go ahead on a certain repair, and that we would "let them know" on the other overpriced repairs that they wanted. The *********************** said they would order a certain part and that we should expect it to be done in about 4 weeks.It's been SIX and we have not heard a SINGLE THING. I've called and left messages for the last 2 days and no one's called back.So my husband went today in person to check.THEY HAVE NOT EVEN STARTED ANY REPAIRS. They thought they were "waiting for us to get back to them on the other repairs". (We made it very clear to fix the one issue, and that we would most likely NOT be using them for the rest) The manager claimed after a few minutes that they ordered the part but haven't received it. He could not produce an order form, which means it was never ordered. So now they have had our car for over 3 months and haven't even started ANY work. This company is a scam.

      We apologize for the entire situation.  We are willing to compensate the Complainant $900 for 2 months of loan payments and will cover the entire engine repair - approximate $8,000 value.  The Complainant will be provided with a Loaner vehicle to drive until the repairs to their vehicle are complete.  The Complainant will be responsible for the cost of Labor and Parts to Windward ********** for the Hybrid components from the initial assessment based on our standard Labor and Parts rates that apply to all customers.

      I took my car in for a safety on 2/20/24 and also an oil change, tire rotation and a anti theft recall. I was charged $186 and was told that my right blinker wasn't working and it would be $991 to replace everything to fix it. I said no thank you and took my car home. 3/2/24 I went to ******** to get my safety done and they let me know that there is NOTHING wrong with my blinker, that my oil was dirty, and that my alignment might need to be looked at but I passed the safety. So that means someone was trying to charge me almost $1,000 for a blinker and didn't even do the oil change, I doubt they did the tire rotation or fixed the recall issue. I don't feel safe bringing my car back for service to you. I don't trust that the work I'm being charged and pay for is being done. I have called and either been hung up on or given the run around and so has my husband. I was advised thru a review that my husband left , as well as a separate review I left to reach out to **************************************** I then received a message on my review from the same day to reach out as well, but have still yet to hear back.

      In September I had purchased a used Hyundai Accent from Windward Hyudai. They given me a temporary Registration which was due in October of last year. I contacted them about my registration several times and wasnt able to get through until I gave them a complaint on their website. Too which they called me back in November. The sales rep told me that they would be mailing my new registration to me which was a sign of relief. Its already January and still no registration in the mail and I have tried numerous times to get ahold of them. I am at my **** end. So I called the *** to see if the company had in fact registered the car at all. I was told by the male operator that he cannot divulge that information the only ones that can is the auto dealers I got my vehicle from. I wrote them a bad review on yelp. This is frustrating. What do you think I should do after this point??

      We sincerely apologize for the delay in completing the registration.  Our team reached out to ************************ in January 2024.  We completed the necessary Safety Check on **************************** vehicle on January 10 and will be submitting the transfer of registration to the City and County of Honolulu DMV on January 11.  Once the registration is completed, we will provide it to ************************.
